Washington DC combi Royal Trux first surfaced at the turn of the '90s and after a ten-year run the band dissolved following their Pound For Pound LP in 2000. With a live album release in 2017, Platinum Tips & Ice Cream, Mississippi label Fat Possum
officially presents the band's first studio work after 19 years away. White Stuff delivers a phased over melee of punk, glam rock and rock and roll amid hints of hairspray metal and classy vocoder work. Abstract hip hop even makes its way into tracks like "Get Used To This", to deliver an album that's as abstract as it is playful, riotous and unique.
