Robert Reuter, or otherwise known as Roger 23, is quite simply a music aficionado with great production skills who has popped up on quite a few European house and techno labels over the last few years. From Playhouse to Meakusma, Roger resurfaces with an extended EP for the newly crowned Mensch Musik packing seven cuts spanning vast drone soundscapes and subtle swirls of percussive electronica. This is exactly the sort of thing we're loving at the moment, it's that sort of solitary music which just works so dam well in a club...maybe at the beginning of a set, in its centre or at the end. However you use it, it's a hugely enjoyable listening experience throughout.
