Paul Roeleveld is Rambadu, a newcomer with a sound seriously beyond that status. On this EP for Hypnus out of Sweden, he crafts some absorbing atmospheres with distant automata, percolating bass and creepy pads all drawing you deep into opener 'Anja.' 'Vinden' is another spacious and roomy dub techno roller with rooted drums but freeform synths gently meandering about the mix. It is the same story of the meditative 'Alaya' before the more linear and hypnotic 'Visie' rolls on perfectly frictionless drums. An EP of real artistry.
