There's much to love on this second salvo from The Healing Company's hush-hush Piano Music offshoot, which is designed as an outlet for re-edits and remixes from unnamed producers. The A-side begins with the luscious and loved-up disco dreaminess of "Danca Louca", where cut-glass strings tumble down over a deep disco groove, before our un-credited scalpel fiend gets busy with a piano and-electric guitar-heavy chunk of Brazilian disco/jazz-funk fusion (the sumptuous "Sambamanao"). Predictably, there's no letting up on the B-side, where the sun-bright, horn-heavy samba shuffle of "Lotus 72D" is accompanied by the EP's most arresting moment: the dubbed-out (and undeniably Balearic) samba-boogie of "To Maluco".
