Also knows as DJ Booth and Driss Bennis, the multi-faceted OCB comes through with his new moniker on France's Rue De Plaisance imprint, Varoslav's eternally poignant household. "Megadrive", the title tune, is a rocking, breaks-led number fit for any sort of warehouse carnage, and the Quick Press edit evolves the tune deeper down the hypnotic techno wormhole. On the flip, "2K1Love" churns out a majestically deep drum machine groove with all sorts of aqueous charms, while both locked grooves at the tail-end of the EP provide some fine-ass analogue heat to burn on the dancefloor. Top notch.
