The Now series has long been iconic. It is often the first music young people buy for themselves and revealing which number you first copped tells everyone exactly how old you are. It started back in 1983 and is now well into triple-figure volumes but here it steps into the electronic world with Now Presents Electronic. Rather than cutting-edge club sounds, though, this is a well-curated collection of synth pop and chart dance from over the last four odd decades. All the key names feature from Soft Cell to Paul Hardcastle, Duran Duran to Japan. It comes across 10 - yes ten - sides of wax so is a great release for jobbing DJs.
