Apart from Osaka Monaurail, who are now signed to German label Unique Records, one of the most prolific modern bands on the Japanese funk scene is six piece outfit Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro, who, after yet another successful full national tour of Australia, have just released two new limited edition singles which have already sold out on their release date in Japan! Luckily, we managed to grab a handful before they all vanished. This single contains one exclusive track ("The Preacher") flipped by "Get Your Point Over", which will feature on the forthcoming Taking A Lesson From The Past album. What you get are two tight instrumentals with swirling organs and breakbeat heavy drums ably assisted by fantastic, note perfect brass parts. Juno is one of the few stores outside of Japan to carry these 45s so you know what you gotta do!
