Berlin-based Swiss vocalist Lucia Cadotsch has linked once more with her much loved Speak Low trio for a second full length that builds on the success of her first.This one again features Cadotsch on voice, while Otis Sandsjo is the tenor saxophone man and Petter Eldh the double bass, but there are also guest spots from Kit Downes on Hammond organ and Lucy Railton on cello. It all adds up to a genre-bending affair with an ostensibly minimal sound but one that always packs a big punch. Opener 'Azure' is an insistent piece of jazz where 'I Think It's Going to Rain Today' is more gentle and inviting, amongst plenty of other highlights.
