The dedicated diggers behind TRAMP Records first unearthed "Mister T.C.B" earlier in the decade. They subsequently included the track - so far the only recording of obscure Texan soul band Los Keys to surface - on their 2014 compilation "Movements 6". Happily, they've finally decided to stick it out as a single. On the A-side you'll find "Mister T.C.B (Part 1)", a formidably fuzzy funk cut that sits somewhere between Northern Soul style Detroit stompers and rasping, turn-of-the-'60s rhythm and blues. Arguably even better is the ludicrously heavy "Part 2" version on the flip, where cellar blues bar guitar solos and punchy horns respond to guttural, James Brown style yelps.
