Creme Organization is keeping tight-lipped about the identities of the London and Berlin-based producers behind the Lander project. While it would be handy to know, what matters more is the music and the Transit EP is a rather special debut. Rooted in the original sci-fi ethos of both electro and techno, it seems the mystery pair chair between moody, widescreen electro (superb opener '3rd Coming'); foreboding, acid-flecked leftfield electro (the dark and creepy 'Contact'); wild acid-electro intensity (the squelchy, mind-bending 'The Approach'); and throbbing, strobe-lit Creme/Clone style Dutch electro/Italo-disco fusion ('A Perfect Landing'). A terrific debut EP all told.
