This may only be the third release on RSVD, but its clear label founder Korova is choosing who he works with wisely. After launching with an EP from Consumer Recreation Service Recordings co-founder Conrad Van Orton, Korova took the chance to further highlight his own growing production prowess with the Blue Knife EP. Here the focus swings outwards again with the Isolated Process drop from Pole Group newcomer Kwartz which will gain a lot of traction thanks to the presence of a remix from Milton Bradley. But first, may the Kwartz be with you as the Madrid-based producer delivers a triplet of burrowing techno cuts that feel like the perfect assemblage of drum ripples, droning textures and deeply affecting basslines. And then there is the Milton Bradley reconstruction of "Second Function", gunning into focus with vicious rhythmic precision and destined to soundtrack the later hours of techno dancefloors across the globe.
Ness, Dave Miller, Jinno(Enable Recordings/Japan), Hannu Ikola (Etherwerks), Philippe Petit, Adriana Lopez
