Ukraine label Trance Pandemic capitalises o the current trend fo bring euphoric old school trance styles to stripped back techno with this superb new EP from Kurilo and Komponente. Opener 'Lord Of Destruction' roams through neon-lit futuristic landscapes with a punchy drum machine and meandering bassline leading the way. There is an eerie and haunting sense of melody to 'Magnifico' while 'Etat' is more stripped back and mysterious thanks to the lien life forms that scurry about the mix. Last of all comes 'Oblivion,' a serene and far-sighted bit of spaced out house with nice acid twitches and cosmic pads.
