The Deep Shit label run by the DJing band members of Foals and Friendly Fires return for their second release, offering up a debut transmission from London based DJ and fledgling producer Kiwi. A swift Google reveals kiwi has records planned for Days Of Being Wild and Kitsune, yet before those he delivers two original cuts backed with remixes from London indie disco icon Rory Phillips and label boss Jack Savidge. The title track "Llama" is a staccato arrangement of rigid bass, drums and one hit snares, while "Jerboa" is more fluid and Balearic, leaning on elements of EBM and italo disco. Savidge issues a touch of rave to his kooky and detuned remix to "Llama", while Rory Phillips adds shiny tinges of piano house.
