Having already turned out one sublime collection of ambient musings for Apollo last year, Kasket returns to the label with four more captivating reflections that reach deep into composition and arrangement. Lead track "Warm Regards" glides elegantly from beatless blends of horn and synth through to loping brushed drums and piano that radiate the accomplished skills of the producer. "Give It A Name" meanwhile moves with a greater sense of purpose, a peppy broken beat meeting with pronounced musical motifs while staying true to the mellow nature of both artist and label. "Bad Connection" sounds altogether more distinct with its plucked notes and sparse, intriguing approach to chimes and rhythms, and "Between Sleep & Dreams" lilts on a softly swung jazz tip that rises and falls with grace.
