This latest release on Hour House Is Your Rush sees the Rush Hour subsidiary dig into the sizeable archives of Jordan Fields to remaster two archival box jams straight from the reel tape that demand your full attention! "Boxbeater" was apparently inspired by the slam dancers who used to go wild on the rhythm tracks Ron Hardy used to play at the Music Box, and it shows. The terms rough and raw are oft used when describing house music, and "Boxbeater" should probably be used as the perfect example of this sound; it bangs hard too! Check the experimental, freeform vibes of "Warm" with a heavily saturated analogue flex complemented by the intermittent, darting melodic touches.
