Opilec Music is an Italian eclectic label founded in Turin by Gianluca Pandullo - mainly as a conduit for his beloved I-Robots project. His track from last year "Brother Man" gets a hypnotic makeover by current 'it' Israeli duo Red Axes. Their version gets some proper tunnel vision happening with its swirling gated synths, mellow percussion and liquid basslines beneath Tuscania's sultry vocals. On the flip, veteran Japanse producer Hiroshi Watanabe aka Kaito delivers another awe-inspiring impression of hi-tech soul with his remix - that is just as evocative and powerful as his previous work for the likes of Transmat and Ibadan.
