Livity Sound alumnus Hodge serves up a riveting new release here for Berceuse Heroique. The Exogenesis EP portrays polyrhythmic percussion, 808 subs and ear-ripping hoover synths, putting a haunting spin on the Bristol based artist's classic sound. From the totally tripped-out bass heavy bounce of "Raptors" or the EP's stand out that is the title track - a pitch black industrial dance workout. On the flip, it is definitely all about the polyrhythmic aspects, as heard on the rather hypnotic drum track "Night Run" followed by the hyperactive stutter of "Bam" which will leave you truly disoriented.
