The prolific MinimalRome boss Valerio Lombardozzi dons his familiar Heinrich Dressel guise for a superlative debut record on Bordello A Parigi. With prior contributions from Skatebard, Model Man and Fred Ventura on the label overseen by Otto Kranen, Dressel is in fine company and The House Of The Rising Synth apparently "ushers you into an imaginary movie full of pain and misery". Consisting of three original Dressel productions, it's obviously a short imaginary movie, and typically for a Dressel release it's hard to pick out one highlight. A rich sense of the sinister ripples through the heart of each track, taking on overt tones on the lead title track and appearing in a more subtle manner going forth. The Model Man himself DJ Overdose is present on remix duties too, adding some tough electro vibes to "The House Of The Rising Synth".
