Spanish producer Damian Schwartz anoints the newly minted AHD imprint with A Ghost Of Myself - his first material under the Epiphany alias, which is presented as an outlet for his "most twisted and raw" productions. It's hard to ignore the A Side title track, a production that crams Schwartz's musical influences into a perpetually twisting analogue house number driven by a thick and gloopy acid dipped bass line with rough and loose percussive rhythms playing off perfectly with the cacophony of heavily flanged chords and staggered string pads. On the flip the heavily distorted "Out Of Being" feels like it's on the verge of glorious disintegration at any moment, while "Through Your Ears" plays with the same elements as it's predecessor with the addition of a vocodered voice and a truly deep bass line motif lending the track a whole different sensation.
