DJ Windows XP broke through in 2017 with their track "I Cried Last Time" on tastemaker imprint E-Beamz. Following up the hot "Sometimes I Feel Happy, Sometimes Sad" on Who's Susan, the Amsterdam based duo provides the third release on Lorca's Live Ones - with some lo-fi disco house indebted to a zeitgeist they ironically never even lived through! The A side features the woozy yet emotive summertime house of "Disco Dreaming" and the funky "Breakfast At Wendys" sounding like early Def Mix material. On the flip, "Some People Get It" goes for that dusty Berlin style MPC house, while similarly "Sloppy Beat" uses the same approach but injects some nice jazzy samples into it for more stylish effect.
