It's fair to say that the Mannequin imprint has increasingly become one of our favourite labels, and it's also one which is still relatively overlooked and underrated given both the quality and quantity of their output. For instance, this latest compilation pulls together three Italian power electronics artists from '80s era Turin who would otherwise be lost in the bottomless pit that is the tapes era. Near impossible to find on the black market these days, the Der Zeltweg label had put out some of the most cutting-edge electronics beats at the time, and three of their artists have been picked for Mannequin's 160 Gramme vinyl reissue. Errata S Corrige, Gasdehyde and Herpes Z each bring forth their own brand of techno-friendly drum machine experiments, and you better believe us when we say that this stuff could have easily been made today and have been released on labels such as LIES, Nation, Cititrax etc etc. ESSENTIAL.
