Frenchman Darlyn Vlysserves up four brand new cuts for Adana Twins's TAU label that were all made in his studio in Spain. The Doble Impacto EP comes after a well received recent appearance on Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant label and plenty of high profile support from the likes of Dixon, Black Coffee and Maceo Plex. The title track gets the EP under the way with a stark, Italo-tinged electro sound that is retro and cinematic. There are darker new wave moods on 'Vi Vil Vaere' and heavy drum workout powering along 'Chaka Chaka' before closer 'Uroboros' layers up slapping hits, and frazzled bass.
