The latest Skudge White record comes from Daniel Andreasson, founder of Autodidakt Records and producer of some killer techno records recently for the likes of Tabernacle and Zodiac 44. The four tracks here are apparently "strictly analogue cuts", and it's important to note the different sounds achieved with each production. Lead cut "Ble3" seems to revel in the patterns made by the swirling melodies as they endeavour to keep pace with the 130bpm tempo, whilst "Dither24" operates at a slower speed and draws some quite beautiful sounds out of Andreasson's machines. On the flip "What's Up" is mangled acid of the Hieroglyphic Being variant and features various sonic elements ricocheting off each other chaotically, whilst "Shape%07" is a drum track that feels like it's about to melt away at any given moment.
