Dakini9 runs Plan B Recordings with DJ Spider and this Inter Limits EP is her third release for the label since signing up in 2010. It's got that grit that all Plan B records do, although paired with soft pads, melodious synths and poppy acid, the overall timbre of the A-side cut "Kuiper Belt" is warm and inviting. On the 10" flip is "Plutonian Man", a straight four-four groove ribbed out of shape by off kilter hi-hats, sporadic synth work, and watery, Tibetan singing bowl-like percussion. Two tough-loving Brooklyn house jams.
