As one Discogs member correctly states, Central Processing Unit is the "...most consistent label of the last couple of years". We couldn't agree more and, each time we have a gander at its now extensive catalogue, we cannot believe that it has been active only since 2012. Since then, the imprint has brought us EPs of all sorts, by both established names like DMX Krew or newer, younger talent like Microlith, Morphology or Plant43. Newcomer Daddy Long Legs bursts through the place with a majestic, electro-fuelled anthem in "The Intergalactic Lover", something of an ode to the likes of The Egyptian Lover, and the disco-friendly, head-jerker called "The Club", a wonderfully funky boogie monster with a rough techno beat. BAD.
