NO is a classic hardcore trash record from the 90s-formed group Boris. Often said to be one of their strongest records from start to finish - and coming in the same month of a reissue of their revered four piece suite Flood, also on Third Man - this one powers through more dense guitar riffs, squealing leads and unrelenting drumming. It was recorded in the early part of the pandemic and captures some of the angst and frustration of the time. Widespread praise followed its release as the record served as a safe haven for those who like to los themselves in extreme sounds. Next to the originals is a cover of hardcore group Gudon's 'Fundamental Error'.
