Bleach Lab are riding a wave of excitement they've fostered entirely on their own. Unabashedly dreamy in their approach, they conjure up some serious nostalgia for the sound of The Cranberries, Mazzy Star and other such heavy-hearted 90s strummers. After a string of singles and some knockout live performances, they've stepped up with this stunning debut album of emotional belters with a classic indie feel. It's no surprise to learn former Cranberries and The Smiths producer Stephen Street had a hand in the recording process, but the songwriting is the real magic here.
