The Blacknecks project from Truss and Bleaching Agent has instilled some much needed humour into contemporary techno at a time when morose press shots, press releases filled with 'uncompromising' patter, and morbid aesthetics have become the prevailing trend. Originally an anonymous project, Blacknecks is now put to bed with the arrival of this sixth and final vinyl transmission and the pair are going out in style with a double pack that is perhaps their best work together. It's certainly possesses the most distinctive cover art illustration you'll see this month and the eight tracks within bristle with gut punching rhythms and aggressive basslines - all done with a knowing wink of course.
