Here's a prospect to moisten even the driest of palettes: a studio hook-up between popular Belfast house revivalists Bicep and Aus Music regular Midland. The A-side is a typically bouncy affair, with a classic, one-note vocal stab and hazy deep house chords riding a skippy, Italian house influenced groove and colossal sub bassline. Unsurprisingly, the flipside Dub is a much sparser and percussive affair. Having dispatched with the vocal stabs, the trio emphasizes the bulging bassline, woozy chords and stargazing electronics. While it may lack some of the balls-out, tops-off appeal of the A-side, it more than makes up for that in terms of atmosphere and weightiness.
