Get your claves out for the lads... This white hot Detroit label launched earlier this year with this very inaugural volume, back again and reissued by popular demand. All flexing around 116 mark, there's a loose sense of funk coded throughout as we're treated to a range of groove treats. Highlights include the detuned synth hypnosis of Berndt's "Pitchblack", the percussive allure and sub charm of Appian's "For Warm Weather" and the rippling dubbed synths of Segv's "Uhxhxh". A very welcome reissue.
