More to the point: First up on their second release is French tech house legend Alexkid with the stripped back and minimal groove of "Kebap". Its reductionist tendencies reminiscent of Thomas Brinkmann or Hardtrax era Richie Hawtin. Also on the A side is Frenchmen Marcelo Cura & Origins Of Time with the particularly impressive "Whisper". Its densely layered esoteric hypnotism will appeal to fans of the Romanian sound. On the flip, Rasna Luji's "Le Visionidi Modigliani" (Suono Su Tela) also samples classical sounds and organic elements on yet another trance inducing cut that takes its cues from eastern European minimal. Finally, Massimiliano Jannitti's bouncy afterhours cut "Sur"is the kind of cheeky weirdo jam you'd expect to hear on Sunday morning at Kater Blau.
