Review: Since 2016, Amsterdam party More Bounce has been giddily joining the dots between original '80s electrofunk and boogie, and modern "future funk" and synth-powered jams that draw influence from that period. Now, courtesy of fellow Dutch imprint Wicked Wax, the party now boasts a compilation, "Feeding U New Knocks", packed to the rafters with fresh material from the current crop of synth-funk supremos. It's fantastic from start to finish, with highlights including the piano-sporting strut of Mofak's "Houseparty", the Dam Funk style L.A dreaminess of Lee Funksta's "Metropolis", the instrumental '80s soul brilliance of Sven Atterton's impeccable "Jooped" and the Zapp style P-funk throb of Koolade's delay-laden "Phone Queue".
