Review: While Pheek may have been in operation for as long as anyone can remember within minimal house and techno, Cleymoore has been most productive more recently thanks to his Pluie/Noir label. Following on from last year's Seikou single on Xquisite, here Cleymoore and Pheek link up to deliver some densely packed, production rich jams that keep the spirit of mid-00s clicks and cuts alive. The beats themselves may be slender slices that carry the energy of the tracks, but it's all in the infinitesimal details in between that the true magic of this music comes alive.
Review: The duo known as Dubsons have been exploring stripped down dance music for a long time now, refining their approach across an impressive array of releases that now lead to this outing for London label Trapped. "Expectancy" brings out the 'dub' in Dubsons with its hypnotic, submerged synth pulses and heads down drum set, while "Cuburi Triunghiulare" takes a more sprightly approach with its fluttering riffs and heavily processed vocal over a shuffling house beat. "Burghez" finishes the EP off with a loopy, psychoactive affair for the ultimate end of the night trip out.
Review: Lumieux is from Bucharest, RO and got in contact with electronic music at an early age (14 years) when he decided to continue with this style of music. For four years he experienced several genres of electronic music: techno, dnb, deep house, tech house and something uncommon genres: experimental, house, industrial etc. Finally he decided to combine two genres of electronic music: House and Techno.
Review: Mihigh hails from the ever-productive Romanian minimal scene, having first appeared alongside Arapu back in 2013 before releasing a few solo EPs that cemented his presence amongst the big hitters from Eastern Europe. Now appearing on Trapped Ldn, he kicks off his Dark Fader EP with the appropriately murky tones of "Corridors". It's a brooding piece shaped out by clanging delay and reverb tones that echo into infinity, creating a perfectly trippy and evocative atmosphere. "Mutual Contemplation" is a quirkier affair that gets all kind of lopsided, pitch bending antics going on, with a sturdy beat carrying the experimental tones in the direction of the dancefloor.
Review: Here we bring you an amazing EP of atmospheric delight stunning bass sounds with an amazing remix from ZefZeed. Both of these artists are very talented producers and very professional and it gives us great pleassure to have them on board with us at Trapped Ldn. Born in Republic of Moldova, Suolo is one of these young producers of minimalist music that sets no boundary in terms of style and musical horizons. After a few trips during the year 2012, he learned to assert his artistic difference both melodic and underground. He signed on labels such as Um Passo, Sleep Is Commercial, Leone Music, In Records and many others who have helped him to become known to a wider audience.
