Sequencer synthesiser module with 8 channels and 512 steps - 36HP wide
Notes: The Circadian Rhythms is moving modular synthesizer technology another step forward by gluing all the pieces of a system together. Each module or voice can now be programmed to play straight from an intelligent, eight-channel, 512-step master trigger sequencer made for composers looking to make music on the modular. Building on the sequencing concept of step programing multi-channel patterns of musical phrases can be repeated, looped, chained, muted and manipulated on the fly in real-time, and most importantly, all of this is done through a simple, clearly labeled interface. Using an array of multicolor illuminated buttons and innovative grid views provides a highly functional live performance sequencer with a beautiful glowing appearance of the programmed music that will look amazing on stage for both performer and crowd. As a master controller, the heart of the modular synthesizer, Circadian Rhythms generates high precision clock and reset signals for all the other sequencers and devices in the system to align with and can also act as a high precision bridge for DAW synchronization.

Views - Unlike most hardware sequencers that have a single static display of a timeline, Circadian Rhythms offers four different horizontal views of the timeline and two unique vertical views that scale from macro to micro. Switch between viewing 64 steps at once or all 8 channels side by side instantly. Stretch gates over multiple patterns to drive envelopes or use Zoom view to move a single hit back a few milliseconds in time to get the right feel all from the same interface.

LED Grid Built for Quick Access - Built around 72 buttons set as a multi-color illuminated 8x9 array, Circadian Rhythms displays both note data and settings in a clear and precise manner. It takes only one click to switch to vertical view and the grid turns into a set of programming and realtime playing functions like Mutes, Loops, Swing, Fills, Copy and Pate, Grouping, Randomizing, Manual trigger entry drum machine style and many many more. Activate any of those functions with only a button press or two.

Clock - Inside the CR ticks an extremely precise clock with jitter and latency measured in mere microseconds for the ultimate feel of groove. The four modes of clock sync make interfacing with other modules, hardware or software simple. Whether driving a large Eurorack system or synced to a DAW, the groove always remains tight.

SyncBus Technology - The Tiptop Audio designed SyncBus enables the CR to connect to any number of other SyncBus devices with the highest possible level of synchronization. A SyncBus master directly injects its core clock and running status into every connected unit so they work seamlessly as one device. Hook up two CRs to make a 16 channel device or add a Trigger Riot (or three) to the mix for further experimentation. Plus, the connection is done behind the panel so no need to patch anything together.

Under The Hood - When state of the art chip technology, musically driven firmware, and professionally engineered hardware design all come together in one electronic device, the result is a music sequencer with unparalleled specifications. Starting with a powerful, precise sequencing engine that has superb feel for the groove, add internal functions that automatically balance performance and smooth user interface operation, and finish with outstanding low power consumption placing minimal stress on power supplies even at maximum output, Circadian Rhythms has a design focused on the requirements of the most dedicated musicians and composers. Long time pros will immediately feel a machine made for their needs, while the newcomers can instantly dive into next level programming and performance.

Percussion module based on sounds from a classic 909 - 8HP wide
Notes: Tiptop Audio Cymbal 909

The module was designed, tuned and tested to sound like the crash and ride sounds from a 909 fresh off the factory line. The sound circuits use a combination of low-fi 6 bit sound samples that pass through a series of analog elements that provide envelope and filtering to the source sound.
TipTop Audio enhanced the circuits by adding manual and voltage controllable tuning to each voice which result in a wide sound range: from hard industrial sound at the low end to the original crash/ride sounds to brilliant HihHts at high settings.

Like other TipTop drum voices also the Cymbl909 has high output level, allowing you to further enhance the sound by distortion and clipping. Play dynamically with the volume of the drum sounds with the Accent parameter, whose CV input is normalized to the gate input. Which means you just need to turn up the accent knob to play the sound with full punch.

Crash: tune CV input; gate input, normalized to accent CV input; Crash audio output
Ride: tune CV input; gate input, normalized to accent CV input; Ride audio output

Wave multiplier & sub-octave generator - 12HP
Notes: The Fold Processor is a voltage controlled wave multiplier and sub-octave generator. The circuit is based on a classic diode design that adds odd harmonics by folding the incoming signal, followed by subdivided square waves.

The wave folder creates new waveforms from the standard sine, triangle, sawtooth and square waves, has a dedicated output jack and CV input with an attenuator making it very easy to create beautifully animated folding sounds. Adjustable voltage controlled Inject alters the bias point creating an even wider palette of sounds.

The subdivide generator squares the fold output generating 4 more sounds spaced one octave apart, each with its own gain knob and mixed to the Subdivide output jack. Mixing the four can create anything from discordant square wave swarms to sweet harmonic oscillator stacks, from a stable square version of the folded wave to freaky PLL like glitched slides.

Overall results can sound evil at times and sweet at others, a true multi-faced devil.

Multimode filter based on the Steiner-Parker design - 8HP
Notes: Welcome to the Forbidden Planet, an all analogue multi-mode filter design influenced by the 1975 Steiner-Parker Synthacon model. Control the Forbidden Planet manually or through CV and take the sound of your Eurorack into new orbits.

Forbidden Planet has three filter input jacks: High Pass, Low Pass and Band Pass. The High Pass section is this module's signature sound - a crisp sharp-cut with no residue, designed to add High Pass filtering capability to Tiptop Audio's wide range of Eurorack modules. Send a throbbing kick drum through the High Pass section and filter out the rumbling lows while maintaining the pulse of the beat. The Bandpass is clear and useful in isolating a pie-slice-range-of-frequencies while cutting off the low and highs, great for accurate sound design or sculpting audio into that sweet spot. The Low Pass is an airy classic 12db two-pole analogue slope ideal for monophonic synth patches and filtering down to the essential low-end bass we all love.

The Forbidden Planet Resonance utilizes an internal feedback path which can sound smooth or aggressive depending on the knob setting. At a low setting, it emphasizes the cut-off harmonics, at middle settings it begins to self-oscillate, and towards maximum setting it forms interesting tones and all sorts of chopped grainy bits of self-oscillation perfect for entering into a sci-fi world.

The Forbidden Planet is an impressive multi-mode analogue filter which adds a broader filter spectrum to the Tiptop Audio modular family and unlocks forbidden creative possibilities in a small package.

Hi-hat percussion synth module made from the legendary TR-808's closed & open hi-hat circuits - 8HP wide
Notes: Introducing the HATS808, part of Tiptop Audio's new series of drum modules that bring analog percussion into the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine.

The HATS808 is the TR-808's real, analog closed and open hi-hat circuits adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and tested to sound just like it did back in the 80's. Adapting to modular foramt has allowed Tiptop Audio to add some special features for each voice, like independent accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, and a dual-input pulse-shaper. Filter Q and VC-Q knobs were added to the main band-pass filter for additional tuning and to allow you to generate crushed tones and self-oscillation at the knob's max position - all without comprimising the signature sound of the TR-808 hi-hats.

The HATS808 sizzling sound is made using six analog square wave oscillators mixed and processed by band-pass filters. This multi-oscillator design is what give the 808 hi-hat sounds their unique metallic character and akes each HATS808 sound slightlty different from one-another. The original "choke" circuitry that makes it sound so dynamic and tight is fully implemented, just like the original, but can also be disabled if needed, by disconnecting the internal connection between the two hats.

Just like the other drums in this series, the HATS808 high-powered output gain stage allows you to further harmonize the sound using distortion and clipping. On each input, there is a dual pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger your HATS808 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

Percussion synth module with TR-909's original closed and open hi-hats circuits adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesiser format - 8HP wide
Notes: Introducing the HATS909, part of our new series of drum modules that brings those classic percussion sounds into the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine.

The HATS909 is the TR-909's original Closed and Open Hi-Hats circuits adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and was tested to sound like a machine coming fresh off the assembly line back in the 80's Improving on the original, we have added some great new features that expand the sound palette of hats that can be produced with this small, powerful module.

The original TR-909 circuit is made with a combination of low-fi 6-bit sound samples that pass through a series of analog elements to provide envelope and filtering to the source sound. The HATS909 module allows for manual and voltage control of the sample's tuning, which provides anything from crushed hats and short ticks to the original sound and anything in between. A modulation switch allows you to tap a voltage control to either the tune input or the internal VCA for modulation with external control signals or for adding AM or FM synthesis in the audio range from external oscillators, other drum sounds, or just about any sound source. HATS909 also offers a switch for a direct tap to the output of the original sample, bypassing all other internal analog processing, giving you the pure source sound for synthesis any way you want with your own modules.

Just like the other drums in this series, the HATS909 high-powered output gain stage allows you to further harmonize the sound through distortion and clipping. On each gate input, we have designed a dual pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger your HATS909 with trigger/gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources.

Delay/reverb expansion card for the TipTop Audio Z-DSP Digital Signal Processor
Notes: Mariana Trench is an FDN card for the Z-DSP. Feedback Delay Networks (FDNs) are built around multiple delays which are connected to their inputs thanks to a feedback matrix designed for its stability and lossless properties. FDN can mimic the recursive process of sound waves bouncing back and forth in an acoustic space. They were first suggested for artificial reverberation by Michael Gerzon (1971) and later John Stautner and Miller Puckette (1982) introduced four-channel FDN reverberator with general stability conditions.

FDN can also be used as a special case of digital waveguides, they can be tuned, or also used as complex delays. The Mariana Trench Z-DSP cartridge is designed to explore these more unusual sides of the FDN algorithms. Mariana Trench Z-DSP cartridge is designed by Christophe Duquesne Anckorage - Haken Audio developement team - La Voix du Luthier.

10HP Eurorack CV modulator module
Notes: MISO is a multipurpose utility module, a laboratory for synthesizing control voltage signals and audio. MISO combines multiple CV tools into one module for making complex CV shapes at the output stage. The name comes from the four main functions available: Mix, Invert, Scale, and Offset.

MISO's 2 sections (1/2 IN and A/B IN) are identical. Each section has two inputs that can be used to Mix signals, Invert polarity/shape, Scale magnitude and Offset voltage. Each function can be used independently or simultaneously with the total shape summed to the mix output.

At the centre of the module is another processor, an accurate smooth linear voltage-controlled crossfader that mixes equally between the outputs of the top and the bottom MISO sections. Feed the MISOs with envelopes, LFOs, Sequences to create new shapes and then crossfade them manually or with CV using the centre section for even further complexity of shapes and animation of control signals. Crossfade between the waveforms of a VCO or audio samples with CV for more motion.

There are an endless number of ways to patch MISO with unexpected and inspiring results. MISO is the kind of module that gives modular synthesizers its incredible replay value, rewarding hours of creative explorations and its experimental and non-traditional mixing.

MISO offers a lot in a small comfortable module that matches Tiptop's system look with clean white faceplate styling. A red/yellow indicator light next to each section makes it easy to see signals and visualize polarity.

Seven channel mixer with classic analogue sound - 3HP
Notes: MIX7 is a seven channel analogue summing mixer module for Eurorack. It is designed for summing any of the different types of signals you'll find in a modular system: Audio, CV, Triggers, or Gate.

MIX7 gives ability to sweeten your mix with more headroom using the power of low noise analogue summing. A compact 3HP Eurorack utility module, MIX7 is an attractive mixing addition to any rig, especially with the ability to also combine rhythms, note patterns or CV automations from different control sources. The main output of one section can be connected to the input of another MIX7 to create larger mixing groups and complex signal routes inside your modular.

The MIX7 summing mixing circuit is built with low-noise operational amplifiers, giving it an excellent sound quality for mixing audio, the beautiful texture of classic analogue mixing with plenty of headroom to handle hot modular signals, and the versatility to sum non-audio signals in your system to open up new creative possibilities.

Each input is labelled with a number of dots, 1-7, yellow for input and green for output. The module matches Tiptop's system look with clean white faceplate styling.

At the back of the module is a user-configurable jumper allowing users to configure the MIX7 for either unity gain (OUT = IN) or give increased headroom (OUT = 0.4IN) for use with hot audio signals, which makes it a great pairing for Tiptop Audio percussive modules. A peak indicator light on the front panel warns the user of even the slightest audio clipping in the mix, helping to keep all the incoming sound sources at their full original quality.

Another voice from the legendary TR-909 in Tiptop audio's product portfolio is this Rimshot. Its two oscillators can be tuned, unlike on the original.

Details:
As every drum module from Tiptop Audio also the RS909 has a gate input which is normalized to the accent input, making possible to play the drum with full power without the need to patch a lot.. Of course the accent input's intensity can be controlled as well as the output level of the module.

The rimshot sound is generated by two oscillators which in the original TR-909 were tuned to fixed frequencies. This limitation was omitted by Tiptop Audio as they equipped the module with two frequency potentiometers for detuning the oscillators. The original settings of the 909 are marked with black dots.

Snare drum module made from the TR808's circuit adapted for Eurorack use - 4HP wide
Notes: Introducing the SD808, part of our new series of drum modules that brings analog percussion to the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine.

The SD808 is the TR-808's analog snare drum circuit adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and was designed to sound like a fresh-out-of-the-box, 1980s TR-808 snare. Adapting the circuit to the modular format has allowed us to add special features like independent accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, a dual-input pulse-shaper, and an adjustable noise source - all without compromising the signature sound of the TR-808 snare drum.

The SD808 sounds tight and extremely snappy because it's analog - the real thing, not samples. The sound is made with three analog sound generators mixed together: two oscillating sine waves and a noise source. The SD808's front panel controls have a lot of sweet spots with sounds that are not just limited to snare drum sounds; it can also create other electronic percussive elements.

The noise source generator in the original TR-808 machines were revised in later production batches, resulting in variations in sound across the production run. The SD808 uses this later, revised circuit to create a snare drum hit that is slightly darker, has more body, and is more realistic. Just like other drums in this series, the SD808 includes a high-powered output gain stage capable of producing signals up to 20Vpp, allowing you to get an array of harmonized snare drums sounds with even tighter attacks. On the inputs, we have designed a dual-input pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger the SD808 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

Snare drum module in Eurorack format - 8HP
Notes: The SD909 adapts the iconic TR-909 snare drum and noise generator for use in the Eurorack modular synthesizer format. We painstakingly tested the module in our lab to sound like a fresh machine coming off of the assembly line back in the 80s. On top of the original circuit, we have added new features that expand the palette of what can be produced with this analog circuit.

The sound of the SD909 consists of two main sections: the binary noise generator and two modulated triangle oscillators. The oscillators provide the low end punch while the noise makes up the upper sonic spectrum, resulting in a combination that makes the 909 snare sound so rich. In the SD909 module the noise generator and oscillators are variable and voltage controlled, which pushes the circuit beyond its original boundaries offering new sounds as well as many variations of the original tone. The panel has markings to guide setting the knobs to reproduce the snare sound of the vintage machine.

Just like the other drums in this series, the SD909’s high-powered output gain stage allows further enhancement of the sound through distortion and clipping. We have designed a dual pulse-shaper circuit on each gate input so you can trigger your SD909 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. Also, the SD909 is equipped with access to the MIXZ MixBus matching the rest of the Tiptop line of percussive modules.

SD card for ONE Sample Player
Notes: STRIKE: Acoustic Percussion Elements
Format: SD Sample card for ONE Sample Player
Recorded and edited by: Kabuki
Type: One Shot
Character: Percussive, Acoustic

256 acoustic drum and percussion sounds compiled for the STRIKE micro SD card for ONE Sample Player by Tiptop Audio. STRIKE is the ideal sonic companion for analogue oscillators and the sounds found in Eurorack.

All sounds were painstakingly recorded using an assortment of vintage microphones, tracked through an SSL 4000 G series mixing desk then printed to 1/4" analogue tape on a well-serviced Studer A80 machine.

Thanks to this detailed process, the delicate texture of each of the sounds has been retained, inviting straight-forward use or experimentations within the Modular realm.

FX expansion card bundle for ZDSP digital effects processor
Notes: The Time Domain Bundle is all about rich delay effects. The package consists of three Z-DSP cards with eight algorithms each. Modulated Delays specializes in animated echo programs, which can be used to create, for instance, diffusion, chorus or pan effects. Hydra provides multi-tap algorithms. These can be used to generate rhythmical delays. Spiral combines a pitch shifter and a multi-tap echo to create atmospheric to slightly psychedelic effects.

Mod Delay:

Modulated Delays brings various forms of animation to the delay lines. These types of algorithms further extend the signal path of delay effects with extra processing and routing of the audio signal. The sonic results put the Mod Delay effects in a category of their own.

Each program adds different processing like diffusion, chorus, panning and other modulation to the basic mono or dual delay line structure. The two Modulator programs are intended for use with external CV - opening up vast modulation possibilities of the modular synthesiser. Each card comes loaded with 8 presets.

Hydra:

Hydra is the multi-armed DSP creature tapping its tentacles into a buffered delay line and creating a range of multi-tap delay rhythmic and spatial effects. The Spread parameter sweeping through rhythmic variations allowing some of the programs bridge the gap between single delays and reverbs by using diffusion while others use taps to create rhythmic patterns.

The basic Hydra algorithm sums the inputs to mono and writes the signal to a single delay line. Multiple output taps are taken from the delay line and spread across the stereo outputs. Each program adds additional features like panning, filtering, pitch shifting and/or diffusion to create a unique Z-DSP Hydra experience. The last two programs add external Clock input for more precise sync to the beat.

Spirals:

Spirals is a pitch and multi-tap delay card for the Z-DSP. This card uses numerous multi-tap delay techniques in combination with dual pitch shifters to create a wide range of harmonizing choruses, echo and harmonic reverb sounds. Programs on this card derive from the complex algorithms found on high-end studio effects processors, which, while powerful, have a complex editing process. On the Z-DSP all of the power of the internal code is controlled by three simple adjustments for sculpting the sound - making the experience more about performance and live tweaking rather than navigating through dozens of menu pages.

Trigger sequencer
Notes: From a conceptual view, the Trigger Riot generates 16 clock streams consisting of multiple time manipulation functions (division, offsets, etc) that interact to create the trigger output, and direct access to each parameter via individual knobs allows for quick manipulation. The 8 outputs are the sum of those manipulated streams per row. The outputs of the module are arranged as either a 4x4 matrix, where each of the 16 knobs affects both row and column, or as a set of independent outputs for each row or column. This allows forming 8 complex musical interactions in a 'Matrix' mode or 8 independent streams in 'Independent' mode and is switchable from one to the other on press of a button for some unexpected results.

Since each of the 16 knobs represents a real time tweakable trigger generator/modifier the Trigger Riot is extremely playable and can result very complex patterns with only few knob turns; patterns that would otherwise take much longer and in some instances be almost impossible to produce using grid based step sequencing. Patterns can have unique time signatures that can repeat or be randomized through probability, time shifted and phased, divided, multiplied and counted, it's unbelievable how complex this module can get with minimal input.

Reverb cartridge for TipTop Audio Z-DSP with 8 original algorithms
Notes: The Z-DSP Shimmer cartridge has 8 original algorithms, designed to combine lush reverberation with multiple voices of pitch shifting, to create ethereal pads, rich chordal textures, dissonant clouds of sound, and a variety of other sounds that are perfect for electronic music. The algorithms are customized to work with the Tiptop Audio Z-DSP Eurorack module.

There are 6 reverb algorithms in the Z-DSP Shimmer cart, arranged in order of complexity:
- Fast Shimmer: A modulated reverb that quickly decays away into an endlessly pitch shifting tail. The shift interval can be set between +/- 12 semitones. Perfect for that classic "octave up" shimmer sound.
- Slow Shimmer: Similar to Fast Shimmer, but with a much slower attack.
- Dual Shimmer: Two pitch shifted voices, embedded within a larger modulated reverb network, shifting the reverb decay in both positive and negative directions. Try slowly sweeping the Shift control in this mode for ridiculously cinematic sounds.
- Triple Shimmer: Two pitch shifted voices embedded within the reverb decay network, plus a third voice external to the network. This allows the user to have a reverb with +12 and -12 semitones of feedback, plus a stable +7 semitones voice without feedback.
- Quad Shimmer: Four pitch shifted voices feeding into a lush modulated reverb. This allows for a variety of dissonant and consonant chordal textures, with the max Shift setting corresponding to a rich major chord.
- ClusterVerb: Four pitch shifted voices embedded within the feedback network of a modulated reverb. The result quickly becomes dissonant or metallic. Perfect for insta-Ligeti, or Penderecki In A Box.

In addition, the Z-DSP Shimmer cart features 2 special effects algorithms:
- Quad Detune: 4 short pitch shifted delays, feeding back on each other. A variety of chorus, detuned, and dissonant effects can be obtained through this mode. Turn up the Feedback for maximum fun.
- PitchEcho: A single pitch shifting voice, combined with a tape echo emulation = sound mangling joy. Turn up the feedback for barberpole self-oscillation, and sweep the decay time for all sorts of swoopy glitches.

Analog voltage controlled oscillator synth module - 14HP wide
Notes: The Z3000 is an all-analog, voltage-controlled oscillator that gives you the ability to implement synthesis techniques in a controlled and planned manner, turning your modular system into an even more powerful musical instrument.

The Z3000 is bilingual - equally fluent in the language of sound (frequency) and music (notes and octaves). Its intelligence comes from its built-in arithmetic processor, which allows for relevant data to be displayed constantly, taking the guesswork out of tuning your modular.

The 73000's analog core generates four waveforms with substantial character, giving you the sound signature that can only be created by a true analog VCO. The Z3000 unique circuitry allows for high levels of synthesis complexity such as frequency modulation, all while maintaining excellent wide-range tracking and without falling into chaos. The Z3000 brings a world of new possibilities that will give rise to a whole new sound spectra within your modular synthesizer.

Matric sequencer synth module - 28HP wide
Notes: The Z8000 Matrix Sequencer is a powerful modulation source in a compact package. The 16 knobs of the Z8000 are accessed by ten sequencers each with their own clock, direction and reset inputs. The ten sequencers are as follows:

- Four 4-step CV sequencers on the horizontal.
- Four 4-step CV sequencers on the vertical.
- One 16-step CV sequencer on the horizontal.
- One 16-step CV sequencer on the vertical.

With the Z8000, you can simultaneously modulate many parameters in your synthesizer polyrhythmically, with unprecedented motion. One knob affects all 10 CV outputs! Imagine modifying 10 parameters from one knob, and all clock inputs can be driven at audio rates.

Your synthesizer is modular, so your sequencer should be too. The Z8000's open design allows you to create a custom sequencing environment to fit your personal needs. Add clock dividers, clock sequencers, switches, trigger sequencers and logic gates to create a completely unique system.

Open-source, cartridge-based, digital sound processing & generating platform
Notes: Tiptop Audio's Z-DSP is a cartridge-based open source digital sound processing and effects generating platform for your modular synthesizer. Lush audio processing, greater stereo depth and a unique set of digital synthesis is what the Z-DSP is all about.

The Z-DSP has a stereo digital sound processor with 24-bit sampling, 15kHz of bandwidth, voltage-controlled parameters of stereo feedback, program switching, DSP parameters, equal power crossfading dry/wet mixing, as well as sequential program control switching and a clear display - all in Eurorack format. A dedicated clocking input for the DSP chip does wonders to passing sound by bending the algorithms in an unexpected way, a hardware technique computer plugins can't do and is unique to the Z-DSP.

In a recent update, the Z-DSP (NS) got an all new design of its analogue circuitry, contributing to a lower noise signal path, clearer sound of the entire frequency range, lower distortion and better immunity to noise emitted by other modules sharing the same power supply. A new analogue dry/wet circuit has been implemented to remove the 3db gain drop when the mix knob passes through the centre of the dial making the use of this function more practical in a live application. A reverse polarity protection has been added as well. The new front-panel matches Tiptop's colourful design, and a single printed circuit board and surface mount technology improve reliability during production and use. The powerful Z-DSP engine remains the same as the original Z-DSP module and all cards are compatible across both versions.

An assortment of interchangeable cards, programmed by Tiptop Audio and specialists like Valhalla DSP, provide a wide range of boutique effects algorithms such as Halls of Valhalla, Time Fabric, Clocked Delays and Grain De Folie. Tiptop Audio also offers blank Z-DSP cartridges and a development tool called NumberZ for developers, students and power users who want to design their own effects and cards with the FV-1 DSP chip programming language. Blank cards can be loaded using programs that are freely available for non-commercial use and can be found in the modular community through online forums. With each card swap, the Z-DSP takes on new effect algorithms, changing like a digital chameleon and bringing colourful digital effects processing to your Eurorack setup.

The Z-DSP comes included with 2 cards: Halls of Valhalla and Dragonfly Delay MKII.

Power supply for Eurorack synth module systems, with guaranteed low noise and minimal bleed between modules
Notes: The Zeus Studio Bus is Tiptop Audio's next generation of the Zeus Eurorack power system and is the world's only high-power system that can guarantee low noise with minimal bleed-through between modules for a clear sounding synth. The power supply is the backbone of your modular system and will define how well it all works; this is not some simple circuit that flashes LEDs on but is a complex analog circuit, not something you want to chance with the various boutique power supplies.

The Zeus SB takes the next step to simplify wiring up power into cases that scale from a simple 3U row to complete walls of modular synthesizers, all done without dealing with hot AC power lines. The Zeus system comprises of an external brick Cincon-TTA power supply, Zeus Access and a Zeus Studio Bus, providing everything needed for a DIY or a professional Eurorack case. The Zeus Studio Bus board is equipped with fourteen Eurorack standard power connectors and two AS power connectors. Connecting wires to and from the board is done using a spring action connector, no special tools are needed, all it takes is to push the lever down and insert the wire. The spring action connector provides multiple points of connection allowing for different types of power configurations, starting with simple daisy chains and up to professional multi-thread star wiring. At the heart of the Zeus SB is our new design of discrete linear power regulators, aimed at providing robust, Low noise studio-grade power to deal with today's growing challenge of a great selection of modules from many different manufacturers that must share the same power bus. And with an eye towards the future, the Zeus SB prepares you for the new wave of high-current digital modules and the upcoming Tiptop Audio Analog Polyphonic system.
