Review: Representing the most housed-up, safe and steady branch of the Carl A Finlow sound, the man also known as Silicon Scally makes his way to the Seasons imprint with a sound that draws upon his more wild electro leanings while keeping the measured funk of sturdy house music in his sights. Things get pretty loose and fruity on "One Track Mind" while "Squeezed" takes great pleasure in wriggling down into a low slung dirty groove, but equally "Subterranean" and "Tilt" do a fine job of marrying esoteric production delights with more structured rhythm sections. Whatever the case the release brims with the unique glossy qualities that Finlow brings to all of his productions.
