Review: Still going strong after 30 years, Platipus Records boasts reams of classics in the trance and progressive firmament, and to celebrate this anniversary comes a special series of 12 collectible records, set to be released over the next year. The third release opens with the mighty album 12" mix of Chab and JD Davis' 'Closer To Me', a much sought-after classic, topped off with Ferry Corsten's equally neat remix of Art Of Trance's 'Madagascar'. The B-side, meanwhile, is blessed with a more recent Torsten Fassbender release, 'Skychayu' and Indiana's 'In My Veins'.

Review: UK stalwarts Platipus Recordings lay down their latest 30 Year Anniversary compilation with a full-on V/A featuring the likes of Union Jack, Len Faki, Chab, Martin Merkel, Simon Berry, Luke Brancaccio and Star. An impressive array of progressive house displays, there's something for everyone here. This CD version complements the LP edition and provides a neat optical-digital counterpoint to the vinyl version's analogue warmth.
