Review: The Not So Secret Diary label continues with its conceptual charm thanks to two ritualistic hymns by the Suburbs outfit to mark the third release for both label and artist. As per usual, it's a fine whirlpool of techno, space-jazz, drone and anything else you might be able to fit in there. However, unlike many other attempts at such a wide spectrum of music, you can count on Not So Secret Diary to make it work. "NSSD003.1" is an infectious, dubbed-out, aqueous percussion jam that will immediately seduce you into its visceral groove. The same goes for "NSSD003.2" on the flip, where another hypnotising bundle of atmospherics and kicks fuse to the point of almost complete perfection. Sublime and hotly recommended.
