Analogue 24db lowpass filter - 8HP
Notes: The 24dB VCF SSI is a voltage controlled analogue low pass filter module with the new SSI2144 chip. In addition, it has a 12dB output that works either as a low pass or bandpass (+/- 12dB). There are two inputs, one with attenuator. Another CV input with attenuator is available for the cut-off frequency. The resonance is controlled either via a controller or via another CV input with attenuator.

The power consumption is +/- 30 mA. The module has a width of 8 HP (40 mm).

CV controllable digital delay with delay time from 2ms to 4000ms
Notes: The Digital Delay Module is a CV controllable digital echo with delay times of about 2 ms to 4 seconds.

The circuit comes from the MEGAZWERG has been improved in some points.

The audio signal is connected to the "In" socket and is connected to the "Out" socket again, depending on the Mix knob (left Original, right the Delayed). The signal can be limited with the "In" control. The LED indicates an overload.

The delay time is set with the Time slider and can be modulated via the CV Time input.

With the switch "Freeze" or with a positive voltage at the "Freeze In" the input signal can be frozen.

If the "Time" control is set to max. is equal to the input voltage at CV Time about 1V/oct and the range is 4 octaves.

With the "Range" control the delay can be roughly changed in time steps. The Feedback slider adjusts the amount of signal feedback. Using the FB Send and FB Return jacks, the feedback signal can be tapped separately, routed to another module or external effects unit, and fed back into the delay.

The module is compatible in design and bus power supply to the Doepfer A-100 modular system.

The power consumption is +/- 30 mA. The module has a width of 8 HP (40 mm).

Notes: The ADSR module is a voltage-controlled envelope generator. Normally, the characteristic is logarithmic, but a linear part can be added. With the help of the loop button, the envelope can also be used as an LFO, then Attack and Decay determine the frequency that goes far beyond 100 Hz. Another special feature is the CV inputs for Attack, Decay and Release. This can be used e.g. control or modulate the times externally. In addition to the normal output, there is an inverted output in parallel.

Analogue module composed of three drum voices - 12HP
Notes: The OH/HH/CY module is based upon the cymbal and hihat sound-circuit of the MFB-522 drum-computer, slightly modified and expanded.

The module was developed as a modular component. Therefore, the parameters decay for cymbal and open-hihat and tone can also be controlled by CV-sources like envelopes, LFOs, step-sequencers. Manual adjustment is available for the parameter tune that affects both cymbal and hihat as well as for the closed-hihat's decay.

Triggering open-hihat, closed-hihat and cymbal of the module is possible through various signal types. Besides sequencer generated analogue and digital trigger-signals, drum-pads, piezo and dynamic microphones may also be used. Here, the controls allow individual adjustment of the input sensitivity. Dynamic triggering will not only affect the sound's volume but also attack and sound length slightly. The functions in detail:

HIHAT: The hihat sound is created by several square-oscillators that are fed into a band-pass-filter. Two decay controls allow individual sound-length-adjustments for closed- and open-hihat. In addition, the decay parameter for the open-hihat can be controlled by CV-voltage.

TUNE: Sets the frequency for all square-oscillators simultaneously. Because the cymbal sound accesses the same oscillators, tune also affects this sound.

CYMBAL: The cymbal sound is based upon the same sound source as the hihat, only that it uses two band-pass-filters that individually shape the attack- and decay-phase. However, the decay parameter controls the length of both attack and sound length. This parameter can also be controlled by an external CV-source. Tone sets the balance between the differently filtered signals paths. This parameter is also under CV-control but does not offer an internal attenuator.

A specialty of the cymbal sound is its tone-input. Here, you can connect an external sound source that replaces the internal square-oscillators for the decay phase. The internal oscillators are still in use for the sound's attack-phase.

Notes: The Visual VCA is a voltage controlled, analogue amplifier module with additional waveform display. The signal amplification can be regulated via the two CV inputs.
