Review: Blondie's seminal "Heart of Glass" catapulted straight into the hearts of a generation, its high pitched, swooping lyrics and captivating drum beat making it essential dancefloor fodder for the best part of three decades. Remixed a dozen times already, here we see a truly original take on it from Simon Hold and Phantom on Love Triangle Records. Stripped-down and delicate, the oomph has been diffused and in its place sits an ambient, melancholic and wispy piece of sunshine. The original is only just recognizable as long, drawn out strings float majestically with a tip tapping drum backdrop. Soft and blissfully naive, this is music that deserves to be listened to in the dark, alone, repeatedly and so intensely that you lose yourself in it.
Review: After a brief hiatus Love Triangle are back with Williams' mesmerizing
interpretation of the electronic masterpiece 'Love On a Real Train' by
Tangerine Dream. An absolute essential for any electronic music lover.
Review: New label from Williams - of Get Physical and Glasgow Underground fame - who also plays in Mylo's live band. Williams has remixed the likes of the Knife, Linus Loves and Marc Romboy. Strong press plot with features and reviews in all the key publications. Heavily supported by key DJ's. "Excellent." - Deep Dish, "Yes, charted it and love it..." - Tiga, "Really like the original, think I may have heard this at Secretsundaze last weekend-brilliant." - Terry Farley, "Sounds wicked!" - Nic Fanciulli, "Top production from one of my favourite producers. The original is definitely the one for me. Great melodies for those deeper sets." - King Roc.
