Review: Soulful jazzy house that switches gears from deep to very up, with lyrics that set the tone. Christian Urich's distinctive vocals are very present and sounding similar to Stevie Wonder in places. Serious bass, acoustic guitar, percussion, vocal harmonies and keyboard solos make for quite an authentic jazz sound. Fred's A-side dub has a stripped down thick heavy synth sound with lush strings juxtaposed nicely to lighten it up. Fred's B-side mix is beefed up a little for the dancefloor with a seemingly more uptempo beat. He isolates the best parts of the original and brings them out in full view, giving them a chance to be fully realized.
