These new versions (from 2021 onwards) have a hole in the top and bottom face with a black / white plastic plug. This enables you to power extra cases passively without the need for a Strom Passive module. When you remove the plastic plug, you can feed a cable through the hole and directly connect busboards together.

This saves an extra 4HP of your precious modular synthesizer real estate.

Notes: The Attenuator Cable is a cable with one jack input socket on one side, an output socket on the other side and a slider in the middle that gives the user the opportunity to attenuate both CV and audio signals traveling between modules. The Field Kit is optimized to process signals from microphones, contact microphones, electromagnetic pickups and able to run DC motors and solenoids. On top of that it can receive radio signals and convert signals from switches and sensors into control voltage!

The Field Kit boasts 7 separate functional blocks all focussed on receiving or generating all types of signals. They are designed to operate together as a coherent electroacoustic workstation or alternatively together with other pieces of music electronics with the ability to use control voltage signals.

The Four Channel Mixer is the beating heart of the Field Kit, providing a fully functional mixer with individual Gain, Mix Level and Tone control over each channel and individual Master- and Aux sub-mixes.

The level of the Master and Aux Channels can be set with the Master Volume and Aux Volume controls and the channels being sent to the Aux sub-mix can be set with dedicated Aux Select-buttons. The Aux sub-mix is pre-fader.

The CV Radio is a CV-controllable radio receiver capable of receiving radio frequencies on AM/FM and SW bands. Additionally it provides the ability to catch electromagnetic waves for further processing inside the Field Kit. The frequency of the radio can be set with a dedicated multifunctional Search-control which acts both as a manual CV-source and as an input attenuator for a CV-signal.

The Envelope Follower in the Field Kit applies two functions to the waveform you send to the input: full-wave rectification (mirroring of negative portions of the waveform) and low-pass filtering (averaging). It can also be used for frequency doubling of a signal, which is a great tool to have in the electroacoustic domain.

The Low Frequency Oscillator generates periodically varying voltages to be used as control signals. The output waveform can be set with a three-position Waveform-control and gives out either a Square-, Triangle- or a mix of Square and Triangle waveforms.

A very cool function of the Field Kit is the DC Interface. You can use its output voltages to run little motors, fans, solenoids, buzzers and control them with control voltage signals. You can pick up the vibrations and electromagnetic waves with the contact microphones and electromagnetic pickup.

The Signal Interface is a nifty toolset to transform the raw signals of a wide variety of sensors and switches into signals that can be used with the Field Kit or other gear. This means you can trigger or control sound by light, heat, humidity, distance, speed, acceleration, proximity, pressure, force, level, all depending on what type of switch or sensor you are using! Ideal for sound installations!

Notes: A starting point for experimental fun, the Field Kit allows you to patch motors, sensors, contact mics and radio signals into your Eurorack system. Get creative!

Notes: This is an awesome addition to the Field Kit. Slide your finger over the Softpot and the voltage will increase and decrease. The Softpot has a hold function, so you can play it like a keyboard, outputting voltages that are very useful to control motors and casually search through the radio bands, or to control a hacked walkman!

Button/Jack:

This is rather a utility tool than an actual sensor. It allows you to either use a pushbutton or any CV-Signal (0- 5V) as a signal source. You can select to either use the button or any signal connected to the jack input with the jumper located right next to pin-header. The voltage present at the output upon a button press can be selected with the two jumpers next to the button. The button and jack can be used with both the ANALOG IN and the DIGITAL IN of the Field Kit's Sensor Interface.

Electret Microphone:

The electret microphone provides a simple solution to use your surroundings as a sample source. The board features a little trimmer to adjust the gain of the microphone pre-amplifier. Use a little screwdriver to adjust the gain according to the printing on the sensor board. It's preferable to adjust the signal level with the trimmer first and only use the level pot of the analog signal interface as a second adjustment stage. The electret microphone has an omnidirectional directivity and is capable of capturing the whole frequency spectrum from 20 to 20000 Hz. The electret microphone is best be used with the ANALOG IN of the Field Kit's Sensor Interface.

Light Sensor:

The light sensor will change the output voltage depending on the light intensity. The spectral sensitivity is similar to the human eye, covering the full spectra of visible light, with a peak at 570nm (green/yellow). The change of the voltage according to the light intensity can be set with the three jumpers on the board. Set those jumpers according to printing on the board. The light sensor can be used with the ANALOG IN and the DIGITAL IN of the Field Kit's Sensor Interface.

Temperature Sensor:

The temperature board features two output modes: a continuous CV or a trigger.

CV Mode: The board will output a continuous voltage in range 0 - 5 V depending on the measured temperature and scaled to the set lower and upper temperature limit.

Trigger Mode: The board will generate a trigger whenever the measured temperature rises above the set upper limit temperature. LED 1 will blink whenever a trigger is generated. The sensor covers a temperature range from -55-C to +125-C.

Ball Switch:

The ball switch consists of a little bouncy ball jumping around in a container connecting two contacts and thus acts like a switch. In contrary to a normal push button, which has very well defined states, the switching of a ball switch is more similar to a percussion shaker. There are two resting-positions which define a certain state of the switch: the board is lying flat on the table with its bottom facing the table: the switch is open the board is lying flat on the table with its top facing the table: the switch is closed. The voltage assigned to those states can be set with the two jumpers on the board. Refer to the printing on the board to identify the position that suits your needs. The ball switch can be used with the ANALOG IN and the DIGITAL IN of the Field Kit's Sensor Interface.

Notes: The Field Kit Sensor Pack B consists of 3 sensors:

Accelerometer:

This board measures acceleration along three axis. Those measurements are used to generate CV signals or triggers. The accelerometer board features three modes:

- Tap Detector with continuous CV output
- Tap Detector with trigger output
- The 'motorcycle mode'

Capacitive Touch:

Connect the Capacitive Touch to organic items and use them as a controller, the Field Kit Sensor Interface will send out signals once you touch the matter. Banana rock, Cucumber Swing, Avocado Samba!

Sequential Voltage Source:

The Sequential Voltage Source is a little magical module which you can use in your musical setup quite easily and allows your Field Kit to become a Sequencer too. This board has three different modes: Stepped Random Voltage, CV Sequencer and a Euclidean Trigger Sequencer.

Notes: Solenoid push-pull motor for use with the Field Kit DC interface. Use this to get sounds out of objects by hitting them. Who doesn’t like hitting objects?

The DC interface of the Field Kit gives you the possibility to trigger the solenoid rhythmically and control its force.

Notes: The FT201 Analog Filter/10-Step Sequencer is Koma's innovative voltage controlled vactrol state variable filter combined with a 10 step sequencer.

The FT201 is capable of providing ultra low and high frequency filter effects which are controllable with the on board infrared expression controller, which allows the user to create filter sweeps by moving their feet or hands over the pedal. The FT201 has 3 different filter outputs: band pass, low pass and high pass, which all work simultaneously. The cutoff frequency range is very large, between 20Hz and 20 kHz and because of the vactrols used the sound quality is superb. The 10 Step Sequencer runs through the selected amount of steps (2 - 10 steps) and adds the control voltage to the value set by the cutoff knob, thus modulating the cutoff frequency in every step.

Notes: Keep it all organized with the KOMA Kabelhanger; by placing your cables directly on a hanger next to your system, they are always in arms' reach! Tour-proof screws that you can twist with by hand for quick installation and removal before and after gigs. The Hanger can be mounted either to the 2HP front panel or whereever it suits your needs. Both the hanger's arm and the face plate are of 2mm thick aluminium and powder coated white.

Notes: Want to create the perfect filter sweep, manually trigger a gate or step through a sequencer? No more need to turn knobs or to patch up a lot of modules, the Kommander makes it simple: just plug it into a CV input on your (modular) synthesizer, move your hand over the device and you are able to control it with your hands, feet or nose, yes: just like a theremin: Kommand and Konquer!

The Kommander is a handheld dual infrared X-Y motion controller that makes controlling your electronic instruments intuitive and fun. The device measures the distance to your hand or any other surface and sends out corresponding CV signals between 0 and 8V. The closer you have your hand to the Kommander, the higher the output voltage. This will allow you to create complex synth sounds, trigger a drum machine, control your Koma effect pedals or any other instrument that is capable of receiving CV signals.

Koma know that some equipment can only accept CV signals up to 3V or 5V, that's why they fitted the Kommander with attenuators, which are accessible in the back of the unit. The attenuators connected to the CV outputs allow you to attenuate the maximum voltage output, so you can e.g. set the range from 0V to 5V instead of 0V to 8V.

Because of the innovative circuit design there is no interference from sunlight or stage light, so the musician can use it wherever she or he wants. Just plug the Kommander into your Eurorack Modular System, Buchla, Moog, Roland or any other synthesizer and create.

Notes: Powerful step sequencer built around four well-equipped full-featured 16-step sequencers communicating via both MIDI and CV/Gate. There are no screens or submenus.

Notes: Set of 2 pcs 19" rack ears, especially designed for the Komplex Sequencer, made of 1.5mm galvanized steel, with 2xM3 PEM nuts installed and powder coated RAL 9003.

Notes: The RH-301 is KOMA Elektronik's solution to a problem many musicians are struggling with: analog and digital equipment that needs to run side by side on a steady tempo: in sync. Analog clock, DIN Sync and MIDI - the RH-301 syncs them all up. The RH-301 is a 'Master Sync Station' that helps electronic musicians get the most out of their equipment by properly syncing their devices and adding an LFO and an envelope that are synced as well.

The beating heart of the unit is the master clock, of which the tempo can be set freely by turning the tempo knob, by tapping a tempo on the tap button, by syncing it to MIDI, DIN Sync or to an external CV clock signal. Besides the normal clock output the user can also divide the tempo signal with the Divisions knob and send a faster or slower tempo signal via the two Division Outputs. The generated clock signal can be passed on to other devices via the two Clock Outputs, two Division Outputs or via the MIDI Output and DIN Sync Output. An incoming MIDI signal can also be passed through via the MIDI Through and Out jacks. All clock outputs are buffered.

The second feature of the RH-301 is the LFO, which can be synced to the master clock or run freely up to 260 Hz in five different shapes: sine, triangle, square, S&H and a special Sine & Noise. This means the pedal can also be used as an oscillator, when the user turns the LFO up into the audible ranges. When the LFO is in Sync-Mode the user can choose the same divisions as the divisions of the master clock. Also wave shaping is available for all of those waveforms. The LFO has two separate outputs on the patch bay: LFO Out and Inverted LFO Out. All the features of the LFO are also controllable via control voltage, the pedal boasts CV inputs for LFO Speed, LFO Reset and LFO Symmetry.

The third feature of the pedal is an ADSR that can be easily synced to the master clock, or run in loop mode. Besides the normal controls for Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release the pedal comes with a Range knob to set the time range of the envelope created, going from a short and snappy linear to a longer and more organic logarithmic response. The EG comes with a normal Envelope Output, but also an Inverted Output. The Envelope Generator can be triggered by an external Gate or Trigger CV Source through the Envelope Gate Input. Besides all these features, the RH-301 also comes with a built-in KOMA Elektronik sensor, which can be used as a separate CV Output on the patch bay as well. No matter what your setup is, digital or analog, if you use a modular synthesizer, DAW, drum computer, synthesizer or KOMA's own BD-101 and FT-201 effect pedals, the RH-301 is an effective tool to make sure they all walk in line.

The Strom Mobile transforms the output voltage of USB power banks (5V DC) to either 9V or 12V DC to power any (music) device running on those voltages. There are two independent channels which can output individually set voltages. The Strom Mobile includes an input current feedback system to save the user from exceeding the maximum output current of the USB powerbank in use.

1 unit consists of the Strom Mobile, 1 x USB B Cable and 2 x DC Cable and an English user manual. Please note: USB Powerbanks not included.

Notes: Strom+ is a strong, reliable and safe 4HP power solution for your modular system. The Strom+ power module includes many safety mechanisms to prevent your modules from being damaged. These include most importantly short-circuit protection, overvoltage protection and a replaceable main input fuse. See the full list below.

Strom+ also offers a current sensing technology that indicates current consumption of your system. LEDs of each rail will turn orange then red, when current consumption reaches or crosses the maximum load of that rail.

Strom+ has extremely low ripple, even under full load. This means better sound and stability for your modules.

One module can power multiple skiffs via Strom Passive Module, a Strom Connector Cable, or a KOMA Strom Busboard.

Notes: The Koma Elektronik SVF-201 is a state variable filter for the Eurorack modular synthesizer system. Its filter circuit is built up with optical parts (Vactrols) therefor delivering excellent studio audio quality and an unique warm analogue sound. The module uses parallel mounted PCBs so it can be used in skiffs as well as in big cases, the total depth is less than 4cm.

The unit comprises 4 x audio outputs that can be used independently of each other at the same time, a high pass, band pass, low pass and the unique first ever CV'able mix pass out.
