Continuing the legacy of Focal's original Alpha range, the Alpha 65 Evo features a brand new 6.5" Slatefiber-equipped driver specifically developed by Focal to provide neutral sound and even greater mixing insight for audio engineers.

Higher end frequencies are handled by Focal's long-trusted inverted dome tweeter design composed of pure aluminium and capable of highly balanced dispersion.

Alpha 65 Evo is built with versatility at its core, satisfying a wide range of music production and mixing applications as well as installed sound and music education duties.

Multiple sources can be played from a choice of XLR, TRS or RCA outputs on the rear panel, while inserts are also available to allow wall/ceiling mounting where required.

This is reflected in the choice of technologies used, such as the inverted dome tweeter, that provide a very linear treble, reveal the slightest imperfections of equalisation even from a short distance away and also prevent auditory fatigue ; the Polyglass cone woofer, which gives excellent damping qualities, ensuring flawless neutrality over the entire bass/high-midrange frequency spectrum, and a remarkable transparency to the midrange frequencies ; and the unique bass-reflex design with large double front ports, which improves acoustical integration even in confined spaces nor installed near a front wall.

Finally each Alpha studio monitor is equipped with two class AB amplifiers. The high-current amplifiers enable complete control of the dynamics of the audio signal. This also allows for listening at high volumes without distortion.

Flagship of the line, Alpha 80 is particularly ideal for producing music which is rich in bass or which requires high power reserves.

This model is composed of a 8" (21cm) woofer/ midrange speaker with a Polyglass cone loaded in a large laminar port and of a 1" (25mm) aluminum inverted dome tweeter. It features a 40W amplifier for the tweeter and a 100W amplifier for the woofer, and has a frequency response of 35Hz to 22kHz (+/- 3dB).

The size of the ear cushions (height, width and depth) gives them a volume which makes it possible to achieve a great tonal balance. Microfiber provides a more linear bass response providing a better acoustic output, whereas the acoustic tissue, which is closer to the speaker driver, offers great absorption and linearity in the 3-9kHz register. The bass and lower mid-range sections benefit from remarkable tonal balance and excellent articulation: where compression and frequency response generally suffer on closed-back headphones.

Listen Professional is also equipped with a headband boasting a unique design to ensure comfort and durability. Its curve remains consistent, regardless of the shape or size of the user's head. Combined with the layer of silicone underneath the headband, this ensures that the weight is spread out evenly over the head, preventing the user from feeling any pressure in certain areas, which can be very uncomfortable during long working sessions. The horizontal and vertical rotation of the ear cups operate thanks to one single part: a joint integrated into each one. The ear cups also feature a black structured covering, making them resistant to impacts and scratching.
