Review: Given that Bufiman is another of Jan Schulte's many aliases, we probably shouldn't be surprised by the loose, live-sounding drums, rich electric bass and topsy-turvy acid lines underpinning "Die Mumie", the opening track on this typically eccentric EP. Or, for that matter, the cheeky synths, bold melodies and overall quirky air of celebration. Predictably, the rest of the EP lives up to these high standards, with the slap bass workout "Raising (Delay Dub)" sounding not unlike the greatest Balearic edit-not-edit of the season. The accompanying "Clean Dub" of the same track is also killer, with glistening new wave guitars and wild synthesizers adding to the deliciously glassy-eyed mood.

Review: Fasaan Recordings is a Malmo based vinyl imprint focusing on the more obscure shades of soul, funk, disco and afro related music. The debut single on the label is "Tyrone", a delicious slice of library soul and deep, afro-tinged jazzual grooves with plucked strings, violins and muted brass. On the flip, the pace picks up a notch with label mates Enjebeye's more club friendly ''Ario'' tapping into a more traditional afrobeat groove with throbbing live bass and great brass sections coming across as Sweden's alternative to Quantic Soul Orchestra. Juno is one of the few shops around the world lucky enough to get this labels releases so don't sleep.

Review: Lo-fi and retro classic house sounds with a Gothic flair courtesy of Fasaan Recordings who have dug deep into the techno underground of Malmo and found the drum machine anthems of Frankie Twilight. The woman behind this Alan Vega-esque alias does not subscribe to any genre definitions and is said to have played in a Berlin-based punk band as well as being a resident DJ at a members only 78 rpm jazz club. Starting off with "Olympia" on the A side, which is a raw and jacking live jam that could well have been recorded in one take. On the flip, there is the Murder Capital style darkwave techno of "My Opal Gems" or the thundering and brooding jackathon of "Coral Desires" which is equally as worthy of your attention.

Review: Ridiculously limited, this galaxy gallivanting two-tracker from Kool DJ Dust and The Keep's Nemas Problemas tickles two wholly different sides of the cosmos. "Mother Brain" is a super-camp disco stomper that's saturated in star-gazing sci-fi sounds while "Jupiter Rising" is a more sedate, funkier jam complete with some of the best organic bass riff to have ever emerged from Sweden. An impeccable release, grab it while you can.

Review: Having taken us on a "Midnight Cruise", Swedish duo Prins and Golden now state their "Hidden Love" for us. Naturally with beats as stately and cosmic as these, the love goes both ways... The title track is daringly slow, its sturdy swagger allowing the pianos to deliver both an insistent spine and occasional star-gazing flurries. "Mystic Trip" takes off where "Midnight Cruise"; dreamy disco driven by bulbous bass and sweeping orchestral elements, the immense space between each riff gives the groove a delightfully immersive sensation. Both are fine-tuned for the sunny season, you'll find it very hard to hide your love for these!
