Review: The Fabric Originals label continues to establish itself as a place that is just as reliable for fresh sounds as the club it is named after. This latest outing is a 21st such EP and comes from the one and only garage great that is MJ Cole paired with new school innovator K Lone. They make a perfect partnership, in truth, with opener 'Stand Up' pairing balmy pads and rich bass sounds with a hooky little vocal. It's brilliantly sensuous with tender keys finishing it in style. Cole then goes it alone on 'Lay It All On The Line' which has a more broken post-dubstep style beat and K-Lone's 'Bonez' is delightfully airy, cavernous bass brilliance.

Review: DJ Bone has made time to put together his first EP in four years for London institution fabric. The Black Market EP is an exciting project which illustrates the newly created fabric Originals label. Opening up with the powerful high tech soul epic 'Rising' which will have you reaching for the lasers, A2 cut 'Fulmination' is full impact techno with a hypnotic melody that's sure to move the mind and body. Over on the flip, there's the welcome addition of liquid drum n' bass cut 'Power Of The Free' which is not something we've heard from the Motor City veteran until now, but fitting considering his back-to-back sets with legend Goldie in recent times.

Review: DJ Nobu and Wata Igarashi and two of the finest techno talents in all of Japan right now. Their knack for sound designs is seance to none - the latter having a background in that for computer games helps, of course. They have a deep sound that is utterly hypnotic and so to have them together on one record is a treat. It is London's Fabric that has made that so here with them both offering up once cut each. 'Flares' from Nobu goes first and melts the mind in the usual fashion while Igarashi's 'Abuku' is more percussive but no less subversive.

Review: Released just days after their Reflections tour, I Jordan and Sherelle link with club institution Fabric and their new label Fabric Originals. Both artists currently working on inspiring stratospheric levels, their energy is captured here across the two unique tracks. I Jordan rinse us up and down the highways and byways of the UK with their high impact 'M1 / M3' while Sherelle goes full-on techno with 'Getoutofmymind'. Intoxicating stuff!

Review: Fabric Originals releases the collaborative EP of Irish-born DJ, producer, and label owner Mano Le Tough and electronic musician and DJ Perel. This EP marks the second release in the label's new series, 'Future Memories,' which pairs a "legendary" producer with fresh talent, with the aim of safely bridging the ideas of generations (heaven forfend the new generation reject the old ideas!). 'Entertain Us' brings progressive house synth eighths to wonderstruck female vocals, while Perel and Tough share respective solo contributions on the B-side: 'Homage' is the self-described electrance love song written for a secret love object, while 'Infinite Scroll' indulges the contemporary screen-mirror percept, with sloshing sound effects and slow-burn builds suggesting that an embrace of the impending technological infinite need not necessarily amount to a doomscroll.
