Look Inside (6:32)
Singing Nervous System (6:21)
Snap Out (5:58)
So To Speak (7:06)
Review: Norwegian producer A:G has been steadily building up a repertoire for the likes of Aquavit, Det Gode Selskab and Blossy, and now he comes to EYA with a plush sound that skips deftly between techno, electro and deep house. "Look Inside" opens the EP up with a neon-lit sojourn through city streets where the pads are brooding and the bleeps yearn with melancholy not dissimilar to classic Alex Smoke. "Singing Nervous System" is a more uptempo affair that uses a taut 4/4 rhythm section and dark splashes of synth work, while "Snap Out" brings the swing without losing the noirish ambience. "So To Speak" rounds things out with another skippy jam that could go down well at the peak of a sweaty basement hoedown.

Bovine (Radioactive Man remix) (6:06)
Bovine (7:03)
Review: Eya continues to be a hotbed of cheeky club energy as they welcome the power duo Thoma Bulwer and Anna Wall to lay down some nasty grooves after they last collaborated for Serenity in 2021. 'Liquid Wiggle' is a sassy slice of contemporary acid house shot through with trippy FX and catchy tech house motifs, while 'TNT' is a boxy beat down with rubbery electro bass which slots in perfectly on Eya. On the flip, the mighty Radioactive Man steps up with a remix of 'Bovine' which is heavy on atmosphere and his trademark electro flair before the original version closes the record out in a burst of dazzling electro house.

So Long (5:35)
Lost World (7:07)
Echoes (5:18)
Mode 7 (5:32)
Review: UK producer Tom Carruthers brings some old school house and techno charm to this new EP on the EYA records label. He kicks it off with the forests and mystic sounds of 'So Long' which is warm and smooth with slick drum work, then 'Lost World' brings some subtly and stylish trance overtones with its glowing, firefly-like melodies and buffed metal snares. 'Echoes' gets a little darker, with clacking hits turbocharging the tech house beats and 'Mode 7' then cutting loose on warped bass and psyched out synth lines. These are timeless and more than useful cuts for heady floors.

Hi-Z (6:18)
Warming Feel (6:21)
Impulse (6:30)
Onset (6:37)
Review: Here comes D.A.B., aka Sonodab or J.E.D. Tape, with some fierce new wares for the ever-excellent EYA label. There's a tough 90s tint to 'Hi-Z', thanks in no small part to a chunky bass riff which borders on industrial. 'Warming Feel' edges a little more towards trance, at least that early Frankfurt version of it, in the psyched-out FX that pepper this largely drum-oriented track. 'Impulse' kicks off the B-side with another slice of upferrit rave tackle that puts all the emphasis on the punch of the drums and a bass that'll hook you right in. 'Onset' may be the B2 but it doesn't let up on the pressure, dropping some more of that muscular fare that makes EYA records such a sure shot for those hot and sweaty peaks of a proper party.

AES (6:47)
Barlow's Lens (6:17)
Desolation Of Kind (6:50)
Gene's Paranoia (6:09)
Review: Matthew Dexter has been waist deep in electronic music, and techno in particular, for years, mainly as the DJ behind a club night called Space Division. Behind the scenes he was also learning the ropes as a producer, with this EP on Eya marking his debut vinyl release. It's a gorgeously retro-futurist affair, with Dexter utilising synthesizer settings and machine drums that recall techno's sci-fi roots, as well as its many mutations over the last 35 years. Check first the faintly foreboding and slightly ghostly 'Desolation of Kind', where flashes of TB-303 and an 'LFO'-esque bass sound catch the ear, before turning your attention to EBM-influenced opener 'AES'. Elsewhere, 'Barlow's Lens' is an undeniably intergalactic affair, while 'Gene's Paranoia' is a gently bleeping roller.

Review: The Lonewolf label strikes again with another intriguing new 12" that mixes up synth, wave and electro. E Bony is behind it and we know nothing of who they are but they clearly know how to coax some magic out of their machines. 'Hello & Goodbye' opens with rasping electro bass and rugged analogue drums while 'Half Man' takes off on a more arresting and peak time trip to the stars. 'No One Is Here' has silky arps and classic electro bleeps driving it along while the B-side begins with a La Mverte remix that brings plenty of metallic dark disco chug to the floor. The original is another bright, twitchy electro workout.

Euler (6:22)
101 Thru 09 (4:40)
Review: EYA Records continues to grow in stature as they strut into their third year of operation, and they're scoring a big coup with this new release from the ever-prolific EDMX. The man otherwise known as Ed Upton offers up some especially floor-focused tackle here, leading in with the freaky house flavours of 'Made In Japan' before slipping into the shuffling techno freakery of 'Options'. 'Euler' has a punchy thrust to it, and '101 Thru 09' taps into a bleepy vein which calls to mind some of Mathew Jonson's wonkier output from the mid 00s minimal era. It's a different slant to what you might expect from EDMX, but it slots in perfectly on EYA, a label championing warm, outboard twists on the tech house tradition.

Closer (6:17)
Maraton (5:25)
Review: Sweden-based newcomer Eric OS takes the reins for the latest offering from EYA Records. It's another EP with which the label showcases a fine array of new and up-and-coming talents. All four cuts are well-designed electronic house tunes with plenty of character. 'Spellbound' opens with off-grid hist and a nice drunken rhythm overlaid with lush tones. 'The Machine' has super fresh synth work that is bright and a little trippy over nice stepping bass. 'Closer' picks up the party with much punchy drum programming and 'Maraton' rounds out with some soft acid and far-sighted cosmic vibes.

REPRESS ALERT!: EYA Records has a big one on its hands here as two big names in Innershades and Do or Die join forces for four searing cuts that draw on multiple genres. 'Digital Modulation' is a jacking cut with high speed synth lasers shooting over mechanical beats. 'Exit Level' is an acid laced, rave tinged techno banger for strobe lit warehouses and 'Function' then gets more mysterious, with an ethereal vocal sound and more acid all going deep. 'System Error' closes on a scintillating percussive energy and broken beat techno.

Review: EYA Records presents a double 12" of plush techno and house spanning styles, giving four producers the chance to showcase the breadth of their sound with two tracks each. Innershades brings emotive 90s swoon and peppy acid to the A side, before Two Phase U slips in a little uptempo robo-disco sauce and a feisty jack track. Otis takes things in the direction of wiggy proto-trance and bleep techno, and then Zots finishes up with freaky synth work dripping with mischievous personality. This is a set of tracks that demands to be noticed - don't sleep.

Strange Places
Review: Eya operates with that buy-on-sight quality which stretches from the distinctive label artwork to the classy music contained within. This latest 12" finds label boss Jos stretching out for his first solo release on the label, affording himself ample space to flex his electro muscles in a variety of ways. "Post Tenebras Lux" is a dynamic, driving club cut that teeters smartly between nervy machine funk and techno locomotion. "Tears" is more linear, leaning heavily on a killer acid line for the meat and potatoes of the track, while "Unconscious Mind" has a more thumping EBM influence looming over the machine jack. "Strange Places" completes the set with another limber workout that features plenty of finely crafted synth lines and a bassline groove to die for.

Jos - "Purify" (5:29)
Review: The fourth release from London-based label Eya continues to shape out an intriguing identity that nods to classic techno tropes while charging ahead with their own agenda. Label boss Jos' "Planet Eya" sets a lively pace with its forthright drum machine jack offset by warm synth licks. Evil Knebel matches the tempo and weaves in a cosmic set of tones, which Poten then cosigns with the equally trippy, propulsive "Intransigence". Jos is back at the helm for closing track "Purify", which strikes a darker tone without losing that raw, vintage techno flavour that makes this label one to watch.

Review: Lonewolf is a sister label to Eya and here it comes with another healthy dose of dancefloor delights from various talented producers. Juaan gets us marching in quick time to his tech workout 'Mundial Vibes' before Nathan Pinder layers up bulbous bass notes and skewed synth lines on intergalactic tripper 'They Are Us'. Rapha's 'Dr. Shermanarium' is a hefty techno stomper and Rupert Marnie's 'User' is all about cyborg funk. Last of all is Bogdan Zaiets with the jittery drums and swirling synth lines of 'Upcoming Festival.'

Manuk & Oli Silva - "Multiple Minglings" (Hi-Ryze Freedom mix) (6:03)
Review: It's time to strap yourselves in for another bumpy techno trip at the hands of the Eya label. Manuk kicks off with surging drums and cantering synth lines that all face into a future space on elastic basslines. Oli Silva will be known atop any fans of Craig Richards' The Nothing Special label as that is where he debuted backed in 2017 and firstly here he goes solo on 'Mutant Mindset,' a twisted bit of cyborg techno funk. Then he links with regular collaborator Manuk for the airy jungle breaks of 'Multiple Minglings' before a punchy analogue Hi-Ryze Freedom mix closes out.

Review: There's a certain air of buy-on-sight mystique around EYA Records, somewhere between the low-key presentation of the music and the cult artists they're calling on to realise their particular vision of deviant dancefloor business. This is unabashed freaky party tackle, from Manuk & Oli Silva's delirious B-movie jack track "Nevermind The Crispies" to the uneasy electro snarl of "Verdico". Meta 4 has equally nightmarish moods to share on the graveyard acid of "Urnammu" and Jorge Gamarra seals the deal with the schlocky braindance horror of "Dypac". It's the kind of record that you'll be reaching for come Halloween, trust.

Review: The 10th release on EYA comes from French producer Master Flashhh, who delivers punchy, cool-headed house music with a strong early 90s slant. 'Too Big To Fail' keeps things stripped back and weighty, with a bassline so thick you could sink your teeth into it. 'Beat Boxxx' has a more psychedelic, slow-techno slant to it, not least thanks to the ranging 303 gurgles sliding around the track. 'Boulevard Mystere' adds a little cinematic spookiness to the mix for an ear-snagging warm up track, and 'Enigma' completes the set with the kind of eerie mood and crisp box jam sounds that make artists like RVDS so compelling. Highly recommended for those who like their machine music with personality and punch in equal measure.

Review: The 12th instalment of EYA's Lonewold series is an intergalactic journey through the psychedelic acid house by fresh DJ and production talent NAY. Featuring cuts that are as understated and minimal as they are potent, the beats feel like a one-finger death punch as far as 'getting it' is. The less time thinking about it means the more time dancing, and the trip-inspired atmosphere is joyous in its simplicity. 'Rituals' is a personal favourite, featuring the 90s atmospheric synth blares you would expect from old-school atmospheric d&b, paired with a groovy tech-house hook.

Review: NYC experimental producer Neud Photo is up next on EYA's Lonewolf series with a killer five-tracker, 'Echoes'. The EP brilliantly oscillates between various inspirations with a strong machine sound, making for an incredible and haunting journey into electro, new beat, minimal and techno. Beginning with a bang on the compellingly haunting, riveting 'Replica', we hear myriad cowbells, FM "ow"s, and future-gothic vocal samples abound; the track harks deeper dancefloor explorations to come, from the entrancing call-and-response, push-pull structure of 'Lotus Eaters' to the brittler, rippling, more skeletal coldwave closer 'Flash Pressure'.

EYA returns with a four-artist VA mining the outer reaches of electrance, charting new bits from Danish duo UFO, electrifying producer Sohrab, and solo artists DJ N4 and Fasme. Banging, breezy and focus-locking, perfect for both mid-floor zoneouts and moments of connection.

Review: The heat just keeps coming from the EYA camp as they swiftly follow up LONEWOLF 003 with this crucial care package from Kiev's Zolaa. Moody atmospheres abound on the stripped and stalking electro opener "Silver Needle, Golden Pain" before giving way to the decidedly cheekier acid snapper "Noctivagant". "Horiy Spokiy" broadens the remit of the record too, taking on a widescreen sound that takes in rich layers of melodic counterpoint to create a vivid soundscape that still kicks in all the right places. Then Etienne drops in a remix for the B2 which shakes things up with some breezy, feel good chords to counteract the punchy thrust of the drums.

Review: REPRESS ALERT!: Andrey Zots builds on his previous appearance on EYA Records with this full-fat EP of fresh, playful and bubbling dancefloor freakery. 'Object' has a punchy electro tint to it, plus more than a little wave weirdness in its sound palette. Terremoto runs with this vibe by ramping up the analogue synth tones and making a bass-led beast of a remix. 'Down The Spiral' gets into freaky territory with some awkward, slanted bleeps and an overall nervy atmosphere, while 'Signal' works up an acidic sweat that should appeal to those lucky enough to be dancing in a dungeon.
