Hot Stuff (Let's Dance)
Review: With 13 million album sales worldwide and still only 26 years old, Craig David has earned a reputation as one of the UK's foremost talents, as well as one of the nation's most successful musical exports. He's now poised to return with a new album "Trust Me", already being heralded as his finest since the 2000 debut "Born To Do It". "Hot Stuff (Let's Dance)" combines Craig David's inimitable vocal gift with irresistible funk-infused beats and a sample of David Bowie's classic track "Let's Dance".

The Queen & I (album version)
Review: Genre-busting New York 4-piece Gym Class Heroes return with their new single "The Queen and I". The new single is taken from the album "As Cruel As Schoolchildren" which has already been awarded silver status. Recognised today as true pioneers of live hip-hop, the roots of Gym Class Heroes can be traced back to 1997, when frontman Travis McCoy first met drummer Matt McGinley in High School. The line-up was completed in 2001 with the addition of Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo on guitar and Eric Roberts on bass. The band set to work on creating a new palette for hip-hop, replacing the programmed beats and samples of old with the live instrumentation of rock and roll.

Michael Jackson (radio edit)
Review: "Michael Jackson" has The Mitchell Brothers looking, sounding and acting sharper than ever before. This is an ode to their hero Michael Jackson. Recognisably produced by nom du jour Calvin Harris, the track is snaked around an impossibly hooky chorus "I wish I could move like Michael Jackson, spin around have the world in a gaze - hit the ground, I wish could move like Michael Jackson hit the ground glide across the stage". If there was one everyman-appeal-out-of-the-box pop track to cross the Mitchells over to the mainstream this is it. Don't miss it.

Review: The Saturday Knights are a culmination of three freaks, a jaw-jacking combination of performing personalities: storyteller and entertainer Tilson, who can tickle any lady's funny bone; low-income yarn spinner and urban graffiti poet Barfly; and pumped up by the big beats and psychedelic turntable-artist, DJ Suspence.

What Am I Fighting For? (LA Priest remix)
Review: "What Am I Fighting For?", by Unklejam, is the massive follow-up single to the debut, "Love Ya". With their instantly recognisable unique electro-soul sound the trio are quickly establishing themselves at the credible end of the pop spectrum. They don't sound like anything else around, taking their cues from classic soul, p-funk and eighties electro pop and making it all their own.

Review: Back in 2019, beat-maker and MC R-Juna made his solo debut with a seven-track set that blurred the boundaries between dub, reggae and hip-hop. On Intelligent Design, his second set, the Indiana-based artist has gone back to his roots, returning to the mic to rap over his own boom-bap and golden era hip-hop beats. It was a wise choice. His chunky, head-nodding beats and layered jazz, soul and funk samples provide a perfect backdrop for his own largely conscious raps, which on some tracks come accompanied by guest verses from A7mc, Zagnif Nori and Chuck Chan.
