It's dark and hard-hitting in terms of both the moody late-night production but also the rhymes. He delivers them with a real snarl as he takes aim at everything from street life to social and racial issues. Both artists have dropped plenty of heat in the last year or so and now they get tight and cohesive on the emcee's first full-length collaboration with a single producer. It comes nine years after they first worked together on a tune and shows how far they have come with timeless bars and dope beats. Review: Ben Carr is Carrtoons, a much hyped multi-instrumentalist and producer from New York. He has some mad skills on the electric bass and brings that to all of his tunes which range from innocent dance-pop ditties to loved-up new soul slow jams and late night hip-hop all with superb samples adding extra class. After a fine debut album Drink Edition, he is back with another full length that will soon swell your heart and make its way into your affections as well as your summer playlists. Saturday Morning has guests like Rae Khali and Topaz Jones and coupled with the well informed and original production they make for a standout record.

Review: Almost a decade has passed since long-serving Italian band Casino Royale released their last full-length excursion, making this surprise return to action a more than welcome development. Apparently inspired by "bewilderment and the search for a direction to follow as individuals as a community", it combines some of the band's previous musical themes - dusty trip-hop, string-drenched downtempo grooves, nods to fuzzy alternative rock and murky pop - with flashes of dubstep, Morricone-style orchestrated pieces, spoken word (in their native Italian, of course) and bubbly electronica. It's hard to pigeonhole but undeniably atmospheric and entertaining, while the packaging (which includes a luminous cover and a nice insert) is equally as impressive.
