Notes: Loquelic Iteritas is a digital VCO with interpretations of three classic synthesis algorithms involving dual pitch control. It creates a huge variety of sounds parameterized by four tone and two pitch controls.

It has a simple interface, with 3 different synthesis algorithms allied to a number of different controls / CV inputs which have different effects, depending on which mode you choose. Simply hook up a number of modulation sources to the 4 inputs and start wiggling!

Notes: Polydactyl Versio is Noise Engineering's take on a multiband dynamics processor. Polydactyl Versio is equally at home on single-instrument timbral processing and on end-of-chain gloss. Taking inspiration from Noise Engineering's Librae Legio, Polydactyl Versio applies a unique and transparent algorithm across three bands for maximal dynamic impact. Add in a multiband saturation knob and noise gate, throw in a limiter, and you have a processor that gives ultimate control of color and dynamics.

Polydactyl Versio is part of the Versio family: this platform module can be transformed into a completely different effect by loading a growing number of alternate firmwares, completely free! Plus, with open-source support and documentation at LibDaisy, you can write your own firmware. Grab a Polydactyl Versio and process your signal into submission or total rebellion with three separate bands, saturation, limiting, and noise gating.

Notes: Quantus Ampla is a compact four-channel VCA. But it's not just any VCA: with some unique normalizing, mixing, and CV options, and a bit of NE flair, you can use it for tonnes of stuff. From the top, each channel has two independent modes: Amplify, which gives you normal VCA response, and Attenuate, which makes the VCAs close instead of open in response to positive CV.

The CV inputs are circularly normalled, so you can easily create ducking effects over multiple voices, volume fades, and transitions, all with minimal patching. Plus, the outputs mix down, so it can be two two-channel mixers, a 3-channel mixer plus a VCA, a 4-channel mixer- mix and match to your heart's content. Did we mention it's DC-coupled? Yep, you can use it to process CV signals, too.

You can never have too many VCAs. Your Quantus Ampla is waiting for you.

Notes: Quantus Trajecta is a quad envelope designed with polyphony in mind. Quantus Trajecta's envelope structure takes the functionality from Noise Engineering's beloved Loquelic and Cursus Iteritas Percido modules, and adds even more control and mode options like Tremolo and ADSR.

Each parameter is CV controllable, and each control universally adjusts all four envelopes for easy polyphonic tracking. Quantus Trajecta is performable, musical, and most importantly, fun.

Notes: Roucha Legio is a 12 dB /octave state-variable stereo multimode filter available on the Legio DSP+oscillator platform.

Noise Engineering received tons of requests for NE filters over the years, and Roucha Legio is their first dedicated release. The filter features lowpass, bandpass, and highpass settings and tracks frequency via the dedicated encoder and extremely accurate 1v/8va CV input. Roucha Legio's CV-controlled resonance parameter can go from clean to acidy-squelchy for bassline joy. Add CV for filter sweeps that will knock your socks off. Of course, because it's a Noise Engineering module, there's a Fold knob. Add wavefolding to the signal chain before, after, or both before and after the filter.

Noise Engineering have made it easy to carry out dramatic buildups and cuts with Roucha Legio. Just tap the encoder to bypass; tap again to turn the filter on again. Want to automate it? Send a gate into the Bypass input. The filter will remain bypassed as long as a high gate is present.

Roucha Legio is also a DSP and oscillator platform: users can change the firmware on any Legio module, 100% free, to any other firmware in the Legio series.

Notes: Viol Ruina is an all-analogue distortion and lowpass filter with an internal envelope follower and self-modulating cutoff. The four-pole design is reminiscent of the classic filters we all know but with a completely new and slightly ridiculous twist. The independently addressable distortion circuit takes VR into overdriven paradise with a shocking amount of drive. Built-in envelope following makes an easy way to create dynamic patches with the flick of a switch, and feedback FM takes VR to a whole new realm of filthiness. Yester Versio is the long-awaited answer to the request for a simple delay on the Versio platform. Yester Versio is a three-tap delay designed to be straightforward and easy to control. It's perfect to help glue together almost any patch, with just enough character to stand out if that's what you want.

Yester Versio comes with controls over panning, delay feedback, and delay time, but Noise Engineering didn't stop there. The Time control interacts with the Even/Triplet/Dotted switch, allowing for flexible delay syncing. These also work with the Tap button and jack input, making it easy to sync Yester to the rest of your patch and create interesting rhythms.

Use the DJ-style filter to shape your delays. Add flavor with Chorus, a bipolar control that adds a bit of clean pitch shifting or LFO-modulated effects. Turn up Fold for some gentle saturation, then gritty wavefolding, and at the top of the knob, to add in chaotic suboctaves for a bit of doom.

And of course, because it is a Versio, almost everything can be CV controlled.

Yester Versio is the long-awaited answer to the request for a simple delay on the Versio platform. Yester Versio is a three-tap delay designed to be straightforward and easy to control. It's perfect to help glue together almost any patch, with just enough character to stand out if that's what you want.

Yester Versio comes with controls over panning, delay feedback, and delay time, but Noise Engineering didn't stop there. The Time control interacts with the Even/Triplet/Dotted switch, allowing for flexible delay syncing. These also work with the Tap button and jack input, making it easy to sync Yester to the rest of your patch and create interesting rhythms.

Use the DJ-style filter to shape your delays. Add flavor with Chorus, a bipolar control that adds a bit of clean pitch shifting or LFO-modulated effects. Turn up Fold for some gentle saturation, then gritty wavefolding, and at the top of the knob, to add in chaotic suboctaves for a bit of doom.
And of course, because it is a Versio, almost everything can be CV controlled.

Notes: The Beautifier is a flexible OTA based filter, featuring a lowpass/bandpass switch and a selectable slope of 24db and 12dB. Two attenuated CV inputs for frequency cut-off and resonance. The filter self-oscillates at a given point and can be driven quite hard if you crank up the gain. All in all, a versatile analogue workhorse with a lot of character; from smooth and creamy to quite raw and screamy.

Welcome to Aurora, a spectral reverb capable of a wide palette of sounds: from lush caverns and whale songs, to alien textures you've never created before. And likely, will invoke a hunger for exploration you felt when you first touched a modular synth.

Aurora uses a phase vocoder audio engine which separates the input signal's time and pitch domains. By blurring these signals you can achieve beautiful time-stretched tails, or cybernetic metallic effects.

Since Aurora's sonic response is entirely dependent on the input signal, no two patches will sound alike, lending itself to an infinite world of surprise and discovery.
