Sequencers
A sequencer is a device which allows you to program and control other audio equipment using analogue or digital control signals (‘sequencing’ the equipment). Most commonly associated with synthesisers, you can sequence any MIDI or CV gear, including samplers, drum machines, Eurorack modular synths and even some effects units.
These days, there’s a blurred line between old-school sequencers, MIDI controllers, samplers and modern grooveboxes, but our range of hardware sequencers allows you to control your synths, drum machines and even software over MIDI, USB or analogue CV/gate signals.
Once you’ve decided which method works best for your studio setup, you can take your pick from various different approaches, such as step sequencers, multi-track sequencers or pad-style drum sequencers.
