Cornell Legacy Fuzz Effects Pedal
Cornell Legacy Fuzz Effects Pedal (fuzz effects pedal)
Cat: 804722 Rel: 10 Dec 20

Fuzz pedal
Notes: With close links to the legendary Arbiter Fuzz Face, the Legacy Fuzz delivers vintage fuzz in spades, with its classic tone mildly tweaked for modern use and more even response.

Supplier's Notes:
The Cornell Legacy Fuzz has that classic Sound without the historical problems that has plagued the famous pedal.Top musicians know that Cornell are the go to people for the unique custom design guitar amplification, it is also well known that Cornell was involved with the famous Abiter Fuzz Face.in fact it was Cornell that Arbiter went to when the re issue model was made in 1999 based on the Original 60's Design. So with that history and knowledge Cornell Has set out to make a new Fuzz pedal design.Starting with tackling the problems of the original design yet maintaining that classic tone.

Earth Quaker Devices Avalanche Run V2 Stereo Reverb & Delay with Tap Tempo Pedal
Cat: 781595 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Stereo reverb & delay pedal
Notes: The Avalanche Run is a dreamy stereosonic exploratory multi-tool that includes up to 2 seconds of delay time, reverse delay, tap tempo with subdivision control, switchable true bypass or buffered bypass with 5 different tail lengths (including a sound-on-sound style lo-fi looping mode) and an assignable expression control that maps the expression jack to a control of your choice, including the toggle! The delay section allows tweaking from tape emulation to bucket brigade styles with a twist of the wide-range Tone control. The cavernous, plate-style reverb has just a touch of modulation similar to the one found in our precious Dispatch Master only more lush with an adjustable Decay. Otherworldly reverse delay and dynamic swelling reverb settings are accessible through a 3-way toggle switch. And that's just the beginning...

1. Time: This controls the delay time and goes from 0ms to just under 2000ms.

2. Repeats: Controls the regeneration of the delay, from zero repeats to near infinite.

3. Tone: Controls the tone for the delay line only. Roll off highs to the left, roll off lows to the right and get a flat response in the middle.

4. Mix: The is the volume control for the delay line. This blends in the wet with dry until 1 o'clock, 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock boosts the wet signal over the dry and 3 o'clock up brings down dry until it is fully wet when all the way up.

5. Expression Jack Assign Switch: Use this switch to map the expression jack to one of the assigned controls.

Decay: Controls the reverb decay length

R Mix: Controls the reverb mix

Time: This takes over for the delay time control and is DRASTICALLY different than the interface control. Using the expression pedal to control the time will give you all kinds of wild effects that can not be achieved by turning the knob.

Repeats: Controls the delay repeats

D Mix: Controls the delay mix

Toggle: This takes over for the toggle switch and will cross fade from forward delay in heel down position to reverse delay in toe down position.

6. Ratio Selector Switch: Selects delay subdivisions when time is set by the "Tap" switch.

1/1: Quarter Note

3/4: Dotted 8th

2/3: Quarter Note Triplet

1/2: 8th Note

1/3: 8th Note Triplet

1/4: 16th Note

7. Decay: Controls the decay length of the reverb, short decay counterclockwise, long cavernous decay clockwise.

8. Toggle Switch (Mode Selector)

Normal: This is the standard delay and reverb mode

Reverse: This is reverse delay mode with standard reverb

Swell: This is the volume swell mode

9. Mix: This is the volume control for the reverb. Blends in the wet with dry until 1 O'clock, 1 O'clock to 3 O'clock boosts the wet signal over the dry and 3 O'clock up brings down dry until it is fully wet when all the way up.

The expression jack is located on the west side of the pedal. It is a TRS jack with the tip acting as the wiper.

Using a Moog expression pedal, with the output adjustment knob all the way up, is recommended. Any other expression pedal is not guaranteed to work with the Avalanche Run.

This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

Earth Quaker Devices Data Corrupter Modulated Monophonic Harmonizing PLL Pedal
Cat: 781617 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Harmonizing pedal
Notes: The Data Corrupter is a monophonic analog harmonizing PLL with modulation. It takes your input signal and brutally amplifies it into a crushing square wave fuzz tone that is then multiplied, divided and modulated to create a wild, yet repeatable, three-voice guitar synthesizer.

The Master Oscillator is the central nervous system at the heart of the Data Corrupter's cyberpunk hive mind. It feeds your input to the signal harvester in its original octave (Unison), one octave down (-1) or two octaves down (-2) for maximum compatibility with your preferred instrument and frequency register. Once you've chosen your input octave, then the Data Corrupter will perform its calculations and spit out an analog synthesized frequency, which can be pitch-bent for portamento or vibrato sounds by the Frequency Modulator! From there, you can blend in one of eight Subharmonic intervals up to three octaves below the input and mix in a square wave fuzz tone for maximum data corruption.

The Master Oscillator (1) is the central nervous system at the heart of the Data Corrupter's cyberpunk hive mind. The three-position switch on the Master Oscillator control panel labeled Root (2) feeds your input to the signal harvester in its original octave (Unison), one octave down (-1) or two octaves down (-2). Use the Master Oscillator's Root Switch to fine tune the Data Corrupter's tracking response for maximum compatibility with your preferred instrument and frequency register. Once you've chosen your input octave, the Data Corrupter will perform its calculations and spit out a synthesized frequency, the octave and/or interval of which may be selected via the Master Oscillator's eight-position rotary switch.

The Voice Mixer's Oscillator Control (3) adjusts the Master Oscillator blend.

The Frequency Modulator (4) applies pitch-bend modulation to the Master Oscillator. In Glide mode, you'll hear a smooth portamento as each note slides into the next. In Vibrato mode the pitch modulates up and down for a retro sci-fi laser effect.

The Subharmonic (5) assimilates the input signal into one of eight lower octave programs between one and three octaves below the original. For a more stable lower octave, set the Subharmonic's Root Switch to the Unison position, which divides the Square Wave input signal, and removes the Frequency Modulator from the Subharmonic signal path.

To unleash the cracked machine lurking within the mainframe, set the Subharmonic Root Switch to Oscillator and try not to look away as the sonic malware you just installed mangles your input signal into the sum and difference of both the Master Oscillator and Subharmonic with the Frequency Modulator applied to the upper and lower octaves.

If you think you're brave enough, set the Subharmonic Root Switch to Oscillator and try experimenting with different Master Oscillator and Subharmonic programs to wind up the doomsday clock and inch ever closer to the Singularity. Adjust the Voice Mixer's Subharmonic Control to set the lower octave volume.

Finally, (or is it?) the Square (6) control located top-left on the Voice Mixer blends in a fuzzed-out square-wave take of your input in its original octave.

The heart of this pedal is based around a CMOS Phase Locked Loop (PLL) IC. In a nutshell, the PLL takes your input signal and compares its phase and frequency against an oscillator, generates an output proportional to their difference then feeds it back to the oscillator. This then causes the oscillator to lock onto the input signal and generate a synthesized frequency. Pretty cool, right? This synthesized frequency is referred to as the Master Oscillator on the Data Corrupter.

This device takes its inspiration from the Electrax Synthax and the "Basic Frequency Synthesizer" by Ray Marston. Neither of these were really intended to be guitar effect pedals and a lot of work went into creating the Data Corrupter to provide excellent tracking and long sustain. We think you'll find it more expressive and accurate than pretty much any other PLL based effect pedal around.

This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

Earth Quaker Devices Disaster Transport SR Advanced Modulated Delay & Reverb Machine Pedal
Cat: 781635 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Reverb & modulation delay pedal
Notes: The Disaster Transport SR is a dual delay with reverb and modulation. It was designed from the ground up to create an intense wash of lo-fi swirling tape styled echo. While it may look intimidating at first glance, it's actually pretty easy to navigate. The top row of controls are for delay A and the bottom row of controls are for delay B. Delay A is a 600ms delay with modulation and delay B is a 300ms delay with reverb. Both delays can be run separately, in parallel, in series or in series/parallel. To take it one step further, there are also expression controls for the repeats on delay A as well as bleeding delay A into delay B. The switching was designed so each delay can be used individually or in tandem with both true bypass or trails.

In addition to being used as a straight delay, straight reverb, rhythmic delay, modulated delay and old school tape-style echo, the Disaster Transport SR can also be used to create a wide variety of wild sounds ranging from warped records, clanging flange, smooth chorus, echoed out squalls and various other-worldly effects that will blow your mind, man. If you are a fan of old school tape delay and crazy lo-fi sounds, you will get hours of enjoyment every time you plug into the Disaster Transport SR.

The controls for delay A and B are separated by row. The top row is for delay A and the bottom row is for delay B.

Time: Controls the delay time from about 30ms up to 600ms.

Repeats: Controls how many regenerations of the signal there are. This ranges from one single repeat through an endless wash into self oscillation. This can also be controlled via an expression pedal. The Moog EP-2 is recommended.

Mix: Level control for the wet signal. Unity is around center, anything above is boosted. Boosting this works great when using a distorted signal. Please keep in mind this is a gain control, a bit of hiss is normal when it's above unity.

Depth: Controls the intensity of the modulation, from no modulation to all out seasick pitch bends.

Rate: Controls the rate of the modulation. The LED for delay A flashes in time with the modulation to visually show where the rate is set.

Bleed: This feeds delay A into delay B, post reverb (see block diagram for visual explanation). Use this control for series or series/parallel operation to create rhythmic repeats, extra long delay time or an all out echo wash. This can also be controlled via an expression pedal. The Moog EP-2 is recommended. When using the bleed, experiment with the repeat controls on each delay line. Try using them in different settings, both together and individually, for different timing and textures.

Delay B Controls
Reverb: Controls the amount of reverb added to the input of delay B.

Mix: Level control for the wet signal. Unity is around center, anything above is boosted. Boosting this works great when using a distorted signal. Please keep in mind this is a gain control, a bit of hiss is normal when it's above unity.

Repeats: Controls how many regenerations of the signal there are. This ranges from one single repeat through an endless wash into self oscillation.

Time: Controls the delay time from about 30ms up to 300ms.

The switches for both delays switch the inputs only. The outputs are always connected. This allows you to have trails by always leaving the bypass switch engaged or to use the bypass switch as the master on/off for true bypass. Additionally, you can feed delay A in to delay B with the bleed control without having delay B switched on for a cleaner rhythmic delay.

Tech Specs:

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

Earth Quaker Devices Dispatch Master V3 Digital Delay & Reverb Pedal
Cat: 781637 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Delay & reverb pdeal
Notes: The Dispatch Master is a hi-fi digital Delay & Reverb Device that combines independent delay and reverb effects into one space-saving enclosure, so you can keep deep ambient echoes (or just a quick slapback) on speed-dial.

The best-selling EarthQuaker Devices pedal just got better with new Flexi-Switchr Technology. Want to dip into ambient delay and reverb sounds for just one note? Press and hold the footswitch for as long as you use the effect, release it when you're finished, and resume your regularly scheduled dry sound. To use the Dispatch Master as a normal effects pedal, press the switch once to activate and again to bypass.

To Use Both Effects at the Same Time, Simply Adjust all Controls to Taste:

The Mix (1) control is a wet/dry blend that adjusts the overall level of the affected signal.

Time (2) sets the delay time from 0ms to 1500ms (1.5 seconds).

Reverb (3) controls the amount of reverb. Counterclockwise is less reverb, clockwise is more reverb.

Repeats (4) controls the regeneration of the delay signal. When the Repeats control is set to maximum, you'll get infinite repeats without runaway self-oscillation, which makes it great for creating drones, dialing in the ultimate post-rock guitar sound without feedback, or just having fun.

To Use the Dispatch Master as a Delay Only:

Turn the Reverb control all the way down.

Adjust the Time, Repeats, and Mix controls to taste:

To Use the Dispatch Master as a Reverb Only:

Turn the Time and Repeats controls all the way down

Cat: 781639 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: Dunes is a condensed take on our highly popular Palisades "808-style" overdrive. All the glitz and glamour of the original Palisades has been stripped away, leaving only the bare essentials required for a rippin' mid-boosting transparent overdrive. It has all the great tone of the grown-up Palisades but with a simplified interface and a smaller footprint!

The Dunes features the same Gain, Tone and Level controls as the Palisades, along with Earth Quaker's favoured voice and bandwidth settings, as well as the Normal/Bright toggle. The selectable clipping Voices are: MOSFET for a tight crunchy sound (Palisades' Setting 3); Silicon Asymmetrical clipping for tighter light gain OD closest to the classic 808 sound (Palisades' Setting 4), and None, which goes from clean boost to gritty, pure op-amp distortion with a massive volume boost (Palisades' Setting 1). The two Bandwidth settings are Stock for the classic tone (Palisades' Setting 3) and Full Range for more low end (Palisades' Setting 5).

Controls:
1. Tone: Brighter clockwise, warmer counterclockwise

2. Voice: MF- MOSFET diode clipping, N- No diode clipping, Si- Silicon diode clipping

Earth Quaker Devices Erupter	Ultimate Fuzz Tone Pedal
Cat: 781640 Rel: 23 Jul 20

Fuzz tone pedal
Notes: When's the last time you turned up your favorite fuzz pedal to anything but eleven? If there's one true thing about rock n' roll, it's that it sounds best cranked all the way up. But where do we go from here? We go one louder. Enter the Erupter.

The Erupter is the result of over two years' worth of tone-chasing, tweaking, and experimentation in search of the ultimate classic fuzz tone with a big low end, a biting top end without being too harsh, and just enough output to politely send a tube amp over the top to deliver a well-rounded and defined fuzz tone with just enough pummeling intensity, so you can rock n' roll all night and still get to bed at a reasonable hour.

It's the perfect fuzz... just sayin'.

Controls:
Bias: This control has a center detent for the perfect fuzz setting. When in the center position, the tone will be big and round with a slight volume boost and great sustain. As you turn this counterclockwise it becomes more gated with lower output. As you turn this clockwise it becomes louder and more refined.

Tech Specs:

This device is true bypass and uses electronic relay-based switching. Audio will not pass without power.

Earth Quaker Devices Pyramids Stereo Flanging Device Pedal
Cat: 781712 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Flanger pedal
Notes: Pyramids is a Stereo Flanging Device with five presets, eight flanger modes, tap tempo, tap subdivision, a multifunction Modify control, positive and negative Feedback, and a variable Mix control, which is something you don't see on a flanger every day.

Built upon the same proprietary DSP architecture as the Avalanche Run™, Pyramids delivers convincing jet-engine roar, authentic through-zero tape-style warble, infinite barber pole sweeps, flexible I/O routing, and the ability to re-trigger the LFO cycle via footswitch opens up a fourth dimension of rhythmic possibilities that's sure to tickle your third ear.

Controls:
1. Manual: Controls the delay time of the modulated signal. Manual can also be controlled via expression pedal.

2. Rate: Controls the speed of the LFO as well as the rise time in Trigger Up mode and fall time in Trigger Down mode. The Rate control has three ranges of operation: Slow, Normal and Fast. These modes are selected by the Rate & Tap toggle switch.

3. Width: Controls the frequency range of the LFO sweep. You might also think of it as a depth control for the LFO.

4. Mix: This is the volume control for the modulated signal. The modulated signal gets louder when you turn it clockwise and quieter when you turn it counterclockwise.

5. Activate Footswitch: The activate switch features our Flexi-Switch technology! This relay-based true-bypass switch allows for momentary or latching operation.

6. Feedback: Regeneration control for the modulated signal.

7. Rate & Tap Toggle Switch: Normal (center position) is 1:1. The tempo you tap in is the tempo Pyramids will spit out. When set to Slow (left position), the tempo you tap is divided for a slower sweep. When set to Fast (right position), the tempo you tap is multiplied and delivers a faster sweep.

8. Modify: The behavior of this control depends upon which mode you're using:

Classic: Tone control for the modulated signal. Clockwise cuts the low end and allows the high frequencies to pass through. Counterclockwise cuts the high end and allows bass frequencies to pass through.

Through-Zero: Delay time for the unmodulated dry signal. This controls where in the LFO cycle the through-zero point occurs, which is where you'll hear the most drastic cancellation.

Barber Pole Up: Tone control for the modulated signal. Clockwise from center is a high pass filter. Counterclockwise from center is a low pass filter.

Barber Pole Down: Tone control for the modulated signal. Clockwise from center is a high pass filter. Counterclockwise from center is a low pass filter.

Trigger Up: Sensitivity control for the sweep. This controls how quickly the re-triggering reacts to your pick attack.

Trigger Down: Sensitivity control for the sweep. This controls how quickly the re-triggering reacts to your pick attack.

Step: Adjusts the glide between steps. Low Modify settings produce sharp, stair-stepped transitions between steps. Higher Modify settings introduce a smoother glissando effect.

Random: Adjusts the glide between steps. Low Modify settings produce sharp, stair-stepped transitions between steps. Higher Modify settings introduce a smoother glissando effect.

9. Tap / Trigger Footswitch: In Classic, Through-Zero, Barber Pole Up, Barber Pole Down, Step, and Random modes, this footswitch is a tap tempo control. In Trigger Up and Trigger Down modes, this footswitch triggers the effect whenever it is pressed.

10. Presets Rotary Switch: Selects between Live mode and one of five presets. Pyramids comes with our favorites programmed in, but you're allowed to re-write them if you want. We don't mind.

11. Mode Rotary Switch: Selects between Pyramids' eight flanger modes

Earth Quaker Devices Space Spiral V2 Modulated Delay Device Pedal
Cat: 781722 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Delay pedal
Notes: The Space Spiral is a dark and dreamy modulated delay designed to take you across the highways of fantasy. While the delay may be designed around a "dawn of digital" echo processor, the sound is out of this world, man. If you are a fan of the dreary echoes produced by old oil can delays or the ethereal sound of a well-loved tape delay, the Space Spiral is totally going to tickle your tone bone.

The Space Spiral's delay time ranges from a tight 30ms to a fast and loose 600ms. Can you imagine having 600ms of delay time at your fingertips? Out of this world! With all of this adjustable delay time you create anything from a classic slapback to a rhythmic wash of cosmic proportions. You want to take it even further? Maybe to an astral plane? Crank up the repeats and let the infinite oscillation of the Space Spiral take you to the other side.

Space Spiral- It'll get you through the night.

Controls:
1. Time: Delay time goes from 30ms to 600ms; Clockwise for long and counterclockwise for short.

2. Repeats: Controls the regeneration of the delay signal. Repeats increase clockwise and gradually begin to build into self-oscillation around 3 o'clock. This oscillation will infinitely continue until the Repeats control is brought back down below the 3 o'clock threshold. These oscillations will last even when the pedal is in bypass mode.

3. Mix: Blends the delay signal in with the dry; Clockwise for more and counterclockwise for less.

4. Depth: Controls the desired amount of modulation; Clockwise for more and counterclockwise for less.

5. Shape: Morphs the wave shape from a soothing triangle shape to a choppy square shape as you turn clockwise.

6. Rate: Controls the speed of the modulation; Clockwise for fast and counterclockwise for short.

Earth Quaker Devices Spatial Delivery V2 Envelope Filter With Sample & Hold Pedal
Cat: 781724 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Envelope filter pedal with sample & hold module
Notes: The Spatial Delivery is an oddball, a voltage controlled envelope filter that allows you to step outside the universe of funk while reinforcing your secret love affair with auto-wah. It has 3 modes: Up Sweep, Down Sweep and Sample and Hold.

With Range, Resonance and Filter controls you can get super emphasized filter sweeps in the Up and Down modes. The Range, in combination with pick attack, controls the sensitivity and reaction time of the envelope and thus the width of the frequency sweep. The higher the Range and harder the attack equals a faster reaction time and higher frequency sweep and vice versa. Reign in the controls a bit, add your favorite overdrive/fuzz after the Spatial Delivery and you've got a real nice resonant, cut-through-the-mix lead tone. Crank the controls back up and you're a neo-bedroom rock god. In the Sample and Hold mode the filter is controlled by random voltage and the Range controls the speed. Add a sub octave into the mix (before or after) and you've just created a deep fried space droid computer freak-out. The filter can be cross faded between high pass (counterclockwise), band pass (center) and low pass (clockwise) for a wide variety of voices. The Resonance control goes from zero to the brink of oscillation and adds more body and ring to the filter voice.

Controls:
1. Range: Adjusts the sensitivity of the envelope in Up and Down mode. In Sample and Hold mode, this controls the speed.

2. Mode Toggle: This toggles between Upward Sweep, Downward Sweep or Sample and Hold.

3. Resonance: This is the filter feedback control, it adds more body and ring to the filter voice.

4. Filter: This crossfades between high pass and low pass filters and allows you to get everything in between. High pass is fully counterclockwise, low pass is full clockwise and center is band pass. This is much more useful than a simple switch because it allows you to blend the filters for different sounds!

Suggested Placement
We recommend placing the Spatial Delivery first in your signal chain. However, due to its envelope control, experimenting with pairing and signal chain placement can take the potential of the Spatial Delivery even further.

Power
This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies, or multiple isolated-output supplies, are always recommended. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

EarthQuaker Afterneath V3 Enhanced Otherworldly Reverberator Pedal
Cat: 781148 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Reverb pedal
Notes: Giant ambience from this cleverly designed reverb pedal. Straightforward, intuitive approach with a clever 'drag' control to spread out and separate the individual digital delay lines.

Supplier notes:
The Afterneath sounds a lot like it looks - a wizard bursting forth from ethereal cave and ready for the ambient battle.

Once inside the cave, a reflection of light from an unknown source catches your eye, and you notice a bizarre sheen on the walls of the cave. You timidly inch closer to the walls of the cave. Placing your hand gently on the cavern wall, you feel the rock move. The cave is alive! Alarmed, you emit a loud gasp, which reverberates throughout the subterranean landscape. Upon further listening, it appears as though the reverberations of your voice are in fact a swarm of short digital delays which may be used to create wild and cavernous reverbs, or scattered, short, rhythmic delays with bizarre characteristics.

Take a moment to consider your Intelligence and Wisdom scores, as well as your spell inventory before proceeding further. You have seven spells at your disposal.

Will you cast "Length," which controls the decay length of the reverb?
What about "Diffuse," which adjusts the spread of the reverb? With your wand (or just the knob) turned counterclockwise, the reverb is sharper with more attack, resulting in a stuttering sputter of individual early reflections. Clockwise casts a washy, more ambient-sounding hex.

Overwhelmed by fear, you hastily cast "Dampen!" As you shout the incantation, you notice that a counterclockwise variation of this spell results in brighter tones, while as you rotate your wand clockwise; you hear darker tones with a mellower top-end. It's almost as if your magic changes the hardness of the cavern walls, and thus the tonal characteristics of the reverb!

Elsewhere in your book of magic is "Drag," which separates the individual digital delay lines, literally dragging them through the very fabric of time and space towards an unknown event horizon from which they may never return. Clockwise "Drag" positions will gather the delay lines close together for a more reverb-like effect. Turn the "Drag" counterclockwise, and the delay lines will begin to pull apart for a scattered ping-pong delay effect.

The Drag can be put under voltage or expression control using the "EXP" jack located on the side and operates in 9 different modes which are selected by the small "Mode" control. These modes are: Unquantized, Unquantized with slew, Unquantized volt/octave,
Chromatic scale, Major scale, Minor scale, Pentatonic scale, Octaves & fifths and Octaves. These modes drastically change the way the Drag control functions, especially while using an expression control or CV.

The "Reflect" alters the depth of the cave, and with it the regeneration of the reverb. This acts as a feedback control and will self-oscillate if cast by a high-level user. Turn clockwise for more wash and echoes, counterclockwise for less.

Finally, the "Mix" alters the alchemical balance between the input signal and the effect. The Afterneath does not go fully wet but does lower the level of the input signal as you raise this control to create the appearance of a fully wet reverb.

Modes
The Modes control changes the way the Drag control functions. The LED will change colors indicating which mode you are in.

1. Unquantized: Smooth, unquantized response over the operating range

2. Unquantized with Slew: Smooth, unquantized response over the entire operating range, but with a musical slew that is reminiscent of turning the varispeed knob on a vintage British tape delay. The "Drag" will lag behind the knob or cv changes, but then quickly catch up.

3. Unquantized Volt/Octave: Smooth and unquantized, yet scaled to align with the 1v/octave curve to allow melodic modulation of audio in the buffer, or control the frequency of self-oscillation like a voltage controlled oscillator.?

4. Chromatic Scale: Quantized 1v/octave to the chromatic scale?

5. Minor Scale: Quantized 1v/octave to the minor scale?

6. Major Scale (Lydian): Quantized 1v/octave to the major scale (Lydian)?

7. Pentatonic Scale: Quantized 1v/octave to the pentatonic scale?

8. Octaves & Fifths: Quantized 1v/octave to omit all but octaves and fifths?

9. Octaves: Quantized 1v/octave to omit all but octaves

EarthQuaker Grand Orbiter V3 Phase Machine Pedal
Cat: 781668 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Phase machine pedal
Notes: Grand Orbiter is a 4 stage OTA-based phaser with a diverse feature set that can go from stationary and resonant to slow and mellow and on through fast and swirly. It has three way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation. The master Rate control fine tunes the speed of the LFO in each of these modes and the flashing red LED acts as a visual indicator, even when the effect is in bypass mode. The Depth control blends the shifted signal in with the dry signal and controls the intensity of the effect. The Sweep control governs the peak frequency of the phased signal's tone, turned full clockwise the sweep is lively and intense, whereas turning counter clockwise yields a darker, more laid back peak. The Resonance provides a wide range of control over regeneration and at higher settings adds a more pronounced and resonant tone. You can also use the Grand Orbiter as a true pitch vibrato with the "Phase/Vibrato" switch. When in "Vibrato" mode, the dry signal is removed and the Depth controls acts as a volume control. This pedal is 100% analog, true bypass and built by entirely by hand in beachy Akron, Ohio.

1. Sweep: Controls the frequency peak of the sweep. Higher peak clockwise, lower peak counter clockwise.

2. Rate 1,2,3: Changes the range of the speed control. Rate 1 is slow mode, Rate 2 is LFO kill to use the Orbiter as a fixed resonant filter, Rate 3 is fast mode.

3. Rate: Controls the speed of the LFO. Faster clockwise, slower counterclockwise.

4. Depth: Controls the amount of phase effect mixed with dry signal. Clockwise for more intense phasing, counterclockwise for less. In "Vibrato" mode, this acts as a volume control.

5. Phase/Vibrato: Cuts the dry signal to create a vibe/vibrato effect depending on the setting of the other controls. Vibrato is created by turning the resonance down low.

6. Resonance: Controls the regeneration of the phased signal. More resonant clockwise, more subtle counterclockwise.

EarthQuaker Levitation V2 Reverberation Machine Pedal
Cat: 781688 Rel: 23 Jul 20

Reverberationmachine pedal
Notes: Have you ever wanted your tone to soar like a majestic eagle in a vast canyon? Perhaps you are a simpler mortal and just want your tone to echo like the cries of a sparrow in a small room... Now you can do both like a champ plus a whole lot more! Welcome to the Levitation reverberation machine! This Levitation device is a vintage-voiced reverb that aims to fit somewhere between dirty sixties chambers, classic spring and the big, ringing plate reverbs of days gone by. Four knobs and one switch control quite a bit more than you'd expect. Want a slap back small room sound? Set all of your controls to the minimum and use the mix to dial in the sound of room devoid of any thing but a guitar and amp. Want to revel in infinite spatial oscillations? Flip the toggle to Long, turn up the Atmosphere and Decay then tune out. Dial in a bright chiming slap back by turning the Tone all the way counterclockwise and reducing the Decay. Dime everything for a rattling, full-bandwidth assault. You are only limited by your imagination!

Controls:
1. Mix: This controls how much wet signal is blended in with the dry. More reverb clockwise, less counterclockwise.

2. Length (Toggle): Broad stroke control for decay time. Shorter to left, longer to the right.

3. Decay: Controls the length of the reverb decay. Longer clockwise, shorter counterclockwise.

4. Tone: This is an input bandwidth control for the reverberated signal. All the way clockwise reduces all low end content to make a brighter reverb, turning counterclockwise allows more low end to pass through resulting in a fuller reverberated tone.

5. Atmosphere: This is a harmonic regeneration control, it feeds the upper frequencies of the reverb trails back through to create a more harmonic (ringing) reverb. More atmosphere clockwise, less counterclockwise.

EarthQuaker Night Wire V2 Harmonic Tremolo Pedal
Cat: 781691 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Tremolo pedal
Notes: Really clever and creative approach to tremolo effects here: the signal is split into high and low frequencies, then the signals are modulated with low-frequency oscillators for funky, organic movement.

Supplier notes:
The Night Wire is a feature-rich harmonic tremolo. What is harmonic tremolo? In short, the signal is split into high pass and low pass filters, then modulated with an LFO that is split 180 degrees. The Night Wire takes the traditional harmonic tremolo a few steps further by allowing the center point of both filters to be adjusted for different tones. The filter frequency has three modes: Manual, LFO and Attack. In Manual mode, the center point can be set to a fixed position with the frequency control. In LFO mode, the filters are continuously swept and the frequency control adjusts the speed. In Attack mode, the filters are dynamically swept according to pick attack and the frequency control acts as a range control, much like a standard envelope filter. The tremolo section has two modes, Manual and Attack. In Manual mode, the speed of the tremolo is governed by where the rate control is set. In Attack mode the speed is controlled by pick attack and the rate controls the sensitivity; the harder you pick, the faster the rate and vice-versa. The tremolo can be subtle and shimmery or full-on throbbing depending on where the depth control is set. With the depth set to zero, the Night Wire will act like a fixed filter, phase shifter or envelope-controlled filter depending on which mode the filter frequency is in. It also features a cut/boost volume control to get your levels just right.

Controls:
1. Depth: Adjusts the depth of the tremolo. More clockwise, less counterclockwise. When fully counterclockwise, the amplitude modulation will be removed and the Night Wire will function as a fixed filter, envelope controlled filter or phaser depending on where the Frequency toggle is set.

2. Rate Toggle: This toggle lets you select between two ways to control the speed of the tremolo. Attack lets you adjust the speed by pick attack. In this mode, the Rate knob controls the sensitivity of the dynamic tremolo. The higher the rate and harder you pick, the faster the speed will rise and vice versa. In Manual mode, the Rate control adjusts the speed like a common tremolo.

3. Rate: In Manual mode, this controls the speed of the tremolo. Faster speed clockwise and slower speed counterclockwise. In Attack mode, this controls the sensitivity of the dynamic tremolo. The higher the Rate and harder you pick, the faster the speed will rise and vice versa.

4. Level: Sets the output level, unity is around noon.

5. Frequency Toggle: This toggle lets you select one of 3 different ways to control the center frequency of the filter section. In LFO mode, the frequency is continuously swept by an LFO. In this mode, the Frequency knobs adjusts the speed of the LFO. In Manual mode, the frequency is determined by where the Frequency knob is set. In Attack mode, the center frequency is dynamically controlled by pick attack and the Frequency knob adjusts the sensitivity.

6. Frequency: Controls the center frequency of the filters in Manual mode: higher clockwise, lower counterclockwise. In LFO mode this controls the rate of the sweep: faster clockwise and slower counterclockwise. In Attack mode this controls the sensitivity of the envelope: lower Frequency gives slower rise and lower peak, higher Frequency gives faster rise and higher peak. Simple, right?

EarthQuaker Rainbow Machine V2 Polyphonic Pitch Mesmerizer Pedal
Cat: 781717 Rel: 23 Jul 20

Pitch mesmerizer pedal
Notes: Welcome to the Rainbow Machine, in all its synthetic glory! This one is for experimenters, adventurists, and noisemakers. Totally not for purists and/or tone hounds. There are no natural sounds that come from this box. It takes modern DSP and uses it as a tool of future past to create real-time pitch shifting using digital oscillators.

Controls:
The Rainbow Machine has been completely re-imagineered from the pixie dust-covered ground up to be more versatile, twice as loud as the original, with an extended delay time, deeper chorus tones, silent flexiswitch footswitches on both the Activate (1) and Magic (2) functions, and most of all, more Magic.

The Rainbow Machine is built around a DSP pitch warping engine that's designed to be slightly imperfect; colored with digital remnants of the cosmic dust we've picked up across the multiverse. That is to say it's a cold digital beast made to pretend it has feelings.

The Pitch (3) control adjusts the frequency of the polyphonic pitch-warped harmony from a fourth below your input, to a third above, and every atonal pitch in-between. Noon is the unison position. Pitch may also be controlled via expression pedal. Use the Primary (4) function control to adjust the volume of the polyphonic harmony.

[Pro Tip: With the Pitch control set to noon, the Rainbow Machine acts as a chorus. Use the Primary control to adjust the wet signal volume and select the delay time with the Tracking control. The tracking improves as this control is increased, so turn it up for tighter tracking with a shorter delay time or turn it down for longer delays and more ambience.]

The Tracking (5) control adjusts the lag time between the wet and dry signals. Tone (6) rolls off some treble for a darker, vintage sound. Clockwise Tone settings are bright, counterclockwise is dark.

The Secondary (7) control adds an octave of the Primary harmony. When the Pitch control is above noon, Secondary adds an octave above the harmony. When the Pitch control is below noon, the Secondary control will add one octave below the harmony. With the Pitch set to noon, the Secondary control adds an additional chorus voice for modulated, triple-tracked tones. Use this control to blend in faux-shimmer sounds or a low-frequency rumble. It's up to you. From there, it's only a matter of how weird you wanna get.

And you can choose how weird you get with the Magic (8) control. This is a regeneration control that creates aliasing (among other things) by feeding the Primary and Secondary signals back on themselves and each other, and a bunch of other stuff no one understands.

With the Magic engaged and the control set low, you can squeeze a few extra repeats out of whatever setting you happen to be using. As you increase the Magic control, you'll start noticing increased ambience, resonant, edge-of-oscillation pitch-shifting delays, chorus, metallic digi-flanging, ascending (or descending) pixie trails, controllable self-oscillation, squalls of synthetic noise, whale song, and finally, distortion. It'll take you way beyond and open up your third eye, trust us. In conjunction with the Tracking control, the Magic creates wild pitch take offs and descends, chaos chorusing, shrieks, groans, gurgles, wizard-blessed wizardry, signal transformation, imminent destruction, and other general mayhem.

Maybe you only wanna get weird for a second? Okay, with the Rainbow Machine engaged, hold down the Magic footswitch, get weird, and then let go to return to your boring, old Magic-less guitar tone. Or, press the switch like normal, and the Magic remains engaged until you press the switch again. Ditto for the Activate switch. Press and hold to use the Rainbow Machine as a momentary effect, then let go to bypass; or feel free to press the switch like normal and use the Rainbow Machine like you would any other effects pedal.

EarthQuaker The Warden V2 Optical Compressor Pedal
Cat: 781755 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Comrpessor pedal
Notes: Hey boss, thanks for taking a visit from The Warden! The Warden is an optical compressor with a feature set usually reserved for studio grade units. Built with high grade components and internally powered by 18v, The Warden has loads of gain and sustain on tap. With complete control over attack, release, sustain and ratio, The Warden will allow everything from a heavy squash with fast attack and release to "barely there" subtle compression. Optical compression has a reputation for having more character than a VCA or FET-based compression and The Warden is no exception.

Controls:
1. Tone: This pedal was designed to slightly color your tone, and the coloration can be dialed-in to your taste. Counterclockwise is treble cut, clockwise is treble boost. The tone is nearly flat around 11 o'clock.

2. Attack: This controls how quickly the compressor reacts and starts leveling the signal. All the way counterclockwise is a fast, nearly immediate reaction. Turning the attack clockwise slows the reaction time.

3. Release: This controls how long it takes the signal to raise back up to the level determined by the Sustain and Ratio settings. All the way counterclockwise is a fast release and the release time slows as you turn it clockwise.

4. Level: This controls the overall output and is affected by the Sustain and Ratio settings. There is no specific unity setting; adjust to taste when you find your perfect compression setting.

5. Ratio: This determines how much the gain reduction affects the signal. All the way up is full compression and the compression is reduced as you turn this counterclockwise which allows more of the boosted, less-compressed signal to come through. There are no defined ratios here.

6. Sustain: This is the heart of The Warden. It controls how hot the signal is, which changes the dynamics of the compression. The Warden is a feedback-style compressor; the hotter the signal, the more active the compression. Very little Sustain= very little compression, less active Attack and Release and a cooler signal. Max Sustain= heavy compression, longer sustain, hotter signal and more lively Attack and Release.

EBS Acoustic Preamp Stanley Clarke Signature Effects Pedal
EBS
Cat: 798772 Rel: 13 Nov 20

Acoustic preamp effects pedal
Notes: The Stanley Clarke Signature Acoustic Preamp is a 2-channel preamp, built exclusively with premium components. It is engineered and designed by EBS together with the legendary bass player and composer Stanley Clarke.

Since the preamp operates at a signal level equal to professional mixing consoles it provides a huge amount of headroom. The superior signal quality makes it suitable to use as a preamp in combination with any power amp. The headroom and specific features make it ideal for handling the complex sonic characteristics of an upright bass.

The A and B channels both feature an input GAIN control and an EQ strip with BASS, MIDS (pick the frequency range with one knob and cut or boost in that range with another) and TREBLE. They both also have a secret weapon, a control knob that can be used either as a HIGH PASS or NOTCH filter. A switch decides the function, while the control knob picks the frequency range. The notch and high pass filters are excellent tools to prevent unwanted feedback and adjust the sound to the characteristics of the room and your instrument.

With 10 Mohms input impedance for both the A and B channels, it handles any instrument with passive, active, or high impedance piezo pickups. The A channel also provides support for Electret pickups when activating a dedicated switch. The B channel allows you to use a 48V Phantom powered (or passive) dynamic or condenser microphone as the source via an XLR-input. Choose whether to use the XLR or 1/4"-input for the B channel with a switch.

The preamp lets you jump between the A and B channels to allow for different settings when you play with a bow or pizzicato or mix the two if you use two different input sources.

Blending two different sound input sources can sometimes cause a phase issue. If that occurs, a Phase Inverter switch, attached to the A channel, will solve the problem.

Hook up additional effects in serial or parallel through the EFFECTS LOOP (requires a Y-split insert cable). A TUNER OUT lets you plug in an external tuner. A BALANCED XLR-OUTPUT sends a studio-quality line signal to front-of-house or a recording device. Use it in conjunction with a Speaker Simulator and use the Ground Lift to prevent hum. The Aux Input and professional-grade Headphones output makes practicing and learning new songs easy.

Can this pedal be used with other instruments?

Yes, of course. The frequency range of an upright bass is wide and complex, which means most other instruments - acoustic or electric - fits within the range that this pedal covers. Other acoustic instruments benefit from the same specific features that this pedal is equipped with to handle the upright bass. Electric bass players may find the two similar channels an excellent way to make individual EQ settings for two different instruments and make it possible to switch between the two smoothly at a gig.

Static expression pedal
Notes: The Cntl Knob is an affordable, compact, easy-to-use pedal that delivers static remote control for devices with expression control jacks. It lets you set two preset values that represent two positions of a traditional expression pedal and toggle between them with its footswitch.

The pedal's EXP 1 Knob selects the first expression setting and the EXP 2 Knob the second. On both, fully CCW corresponds to the heel position while fully CW to the toe position. LEDs indicate which knob is active and can be powered by your pedalboard's power supply or an optional EHX's 9.6DC200mA PSU.

To maximize the Cntl Knob's compatibility with other products it's equipped with a TRS+/- Button that lets you match its expression polarity with the device being controlled. For extra convenience it comes equipped with a 6 foot TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) cable.

Electro-Harmonix introduces the compact Cntl Knob which lets a player set two preset values that represent two positions of a traditional expression pedal and toggle between them with its footswitch.

The Cntl Knob's EXP 1 Knob selects the first expression setting and the EXP 2 Knob the second. On both, fully CCW corresponds to the heel position while fully CW to the toe position. Electro Harmonix EDDY Analogue Vibrato & Chorus Effects Pedal

Vibrato/chorus effects pedal
Notes: No one does bucket-brigade effects like Electro-Harmonix and with the Eddy you get lush EHX vibrato and chorus in a compact, pedalboard friendly package with unique control options.

The Eddy also features LFO shape warping which can transform the shape of the modulation from a standard sine wave to something totally asymmetric. Plus, the pedal's tone control lets you make the sound brighter or darker.

Electro Harmonix Mainframe Bit Crusher Effects Pedal
Cat: 793996 Rel: 12 Oct 20

Bit crusher pedal
Notes: Clever take on bit crushing, sample rate reduction and all-round lo-fi goodness. Crunchy retro digital sounds with a neat option to tune the sample rate to the key of your song.

Supplier's Notes:
Buzz. Beep and bloop. Electro Harmonix are high on the lo-fi sounds of "old-school" games, toys and terminals and the Mainframe Bit Crusher takes us back in time to when Pac Man and Donkey Kong ruled the arcades, to when the Commodore 64 was high tech.

It provides sample rate reduction ranging from 48kHz to 110Hz. A little background- the sample rate is the number of times per second that a sample or snapshot of an analog signal is taken. For example, CDs (remember them?) had a sample rate of 44.1kHz which means that the original analog signal is sampled 44,100 times per second.

Empress Effects Echo System Dual Engine Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 783107 Rel: 24 Sep 20

Delay pedal
Notes: Spanning the gamut of known delay possibilities and beyond, the Echosystem could be the ultimate delay-crafting tool. Faithful emulations of classics like digital, tape and analog delays are numerous, as well as Empress' own take on each of these delay styles. Moving beyond the traditional, the vast amount of sonic ground the Echosystem can cover becomes apparent. Check out the ambient modes when you're feeling chilled out, or perhaps a visit to the multi tap modes for a taste of inspiration.

The Dual Engine functionality allows any 2 of these delays to be used together, routed in either parallel, series, or left/right configurations.

In addition to delays, there's the super-useful reverb combos, which will elevate any guitar part. Oh, and don't forget Whisky mode, best accompanied by a dram of whatever you've got!

The pedal has 12 algorithm types, all with multiple variations. For example, there are 4 different tape delays on tap.

Emulations of classic tape and analog units are available, as well as our take on these types of delay.

All the algorithm controls are sitting on a knob in front of you, no fiddling through laborious menus.

Global tap tempo as well as local tempo with lots of subdivisions are available on all modes, in addition to being able to set the delay time directly with the knob.

Features a signal to noise ratio of >104dB and maintains an analog dry path.

2 delays can be used at the same time, each with its own full set of controls and routed in serial, parallel or left/right.

Settings can be saved to 35 presets. With three stomp switches, accessing the presets is easy.

Bank style or scrolling style preset modes.

It can be configured to run with true bypass or buffered bypass if you want to hear trails.

Cabinet Simulator - 3 variations to choose from, perfect for recording, practicing or for gigs without an amp.

Get hum-free operation when operating in stereo with two amps. Output 2 is isolated with a transformer to eliminate nasty ground loops.

48kHz sampling, with 24 bit conversion and 32 bit internal processing.

Dry signal is left untouched, and blended with the wet signal using VCA. (no zipper noise, hooray!)

The Universal Control Port allows you to connect an expression pedal, external tap switch, control voltage, external audio input and MIDI - all using a standard 1/4" jack!

The Advanced configuration menu lets you configure how your delay works. Select from true or buffered bypass, 0-35 presets, MIDI configuration, Control Port(expression pedal, external tap, control voltage and MIDI) as well as which style of preset system to use, input signal pad, output transformer enable and more!

The enclosure measures approximately 5.7" by 3.75" by 1.75", which is delightfully small when considering all the features packed into this unit.

Empress Effects Heavy High Gain Distortion Pedal
Cat: 783043 Rel: 10 Sep 20

High gain distortion pedal
Notes: In this aptly named box you'll find a huge range of killer high gain tones. From crisp, mid-driven 80's metal, to scooped, modern down-tuned brutality, this little box of sonic mayhem does it all. The two independent channels can be voiced similarly so that one channel can be used as a solo boost, or they can be voiced entirely differently by using the mid range control in conjunction with the 3 position mid frequency select switch. Add in separate weight controls to shape the low end response of each channel, and a global hi/low eq section that allows you to fine tune your particular amp and cab combination, and you've got a serious tool to create a supremely heavy sounding rig.

On top of all this, there's an extremely responsive and hassle free noise gate that will ensure dead silent operation with even the most obscene amounts of gain added.

Chorus/vibrato/flanger pedal
Notes: The Nebulus brings guitarists high quality chorus, flanger and vibrato effects in a really compact 4.5 by 3.5 inch pedal. To increase the tone range even further 3 variations on each effect are available for a total of 9 tweak-able modes. All this flexibility is easy to access via a preset system capable of storing up to 8 different presets.

The chorus mode offers a lush and warm sounding chorus, a fluid and dreamy multi-chorus, and a unique tremolo'ed chorus. The flanger setting has a classic tape flange, a 70's negative feedback type flanger, and the elusive thru-zero flange. Lastly, but certainly not least, are the vibrato sub-modes which include a standard vibrato, a classic vibe sound, and a rotating speaker effect.

Empress Effects Phaser Pedal

Phaser pedal
Notes: Redefining the phaser effect from the ground up, Empress Effects has created a phaser pedal unlike anything else on the market. Employing a unique VCA based design, the Empress Phaser Pedal offers unparalleled signal-to-noise ratio. Choose between 2 stage, 4 stage or an Empress exclusive 3 stage mode; all controllable via tap tempo sweeping through an impressive set of 8 waveforms.

The Empress Phaser Pedal is the next generation in the evolution of digitally-controlled analog technology. It features an all-analog signal path but is controlled by a microprocessor, allowing it to maintain all its character and analog flavor while adding a ton of possibilities for control and adaptability. Sure, it does the classic jet sounds, super funky auto-wah and ring modulators, as well as having vibrato and Univibe sounds on tap. But what really sets the Empress Phaser Pedal apart are the auto modes: envelope following, audio-triggered sweeps, rhythms and direct control are just a few of the settings found on the Empress Phaser Pedal.

It also offers unsurpassed connectivity by featuring expression pedal control as well as accepting control voltage, external tap, external audio control and MIDI. All of this comes in a rock solid die cast aluminum enclosure with true bypass keeping things clean.

Eventide Blackhole Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 791381 Rel: 16 Sep 20

Reverb pedal
Notes: Little box, big reverb. Specially designed for huge, cavernous echo effects and ideal for infinite tails and frozen sounds, the Blackhole is an exceptionally high quality pedal at a very reasonable price.

Supplier's Notes:
Create haunting echoes, ethereal landscapes and otherworldly ambience with Blackhole, a reverb pedal as big and as mysterious as the cosmos. Blackhole takes you there - beyond the ambience of mere earthly Halls, Rooms, Plates or Springs. Blackhole will take you on a journey from cathedral-type spaces to a universe of out-of-this-world soundscapes.

It includes onboard tone controls, modulation, and infinite reverb settings with mono or stereo operation, MIDI control, preset storing, and most importantly a new compact, easy-to-use interface.

Blackhole features two types of infinite reverb. Infinity mode continuously layers new sound on top of a suspended reverb. Freeze mode holds the effect allowing you to play over the reverb tail. The Freeze Footswitch allows instant access to this feature.

Unlike other reverbs which may offer pre or post modulation, Blackhole features modulation built into the reverb structure itself. It's essentially a big multi-voice chorus, with unique tone-shaping ability. You can utilize extreme settings to smooth out the edges.

Like all Eventide pedals, Blackhole allows you to fine tune every aspect of the effect. With a new, user-friendly, intuitive interface, just about anyone can shoot for the moon and land beyond the stars.

Fulltone 2B Clean Boost With Germanium Limiter Pedal
Cat: 782489 Rel: 30 Oct 20

Boost pedal
Notes: The Fulltone 2B is a tiny, transparent, and amazing boost pedal, born from the "Boost" channel in Fulltone's FD3 pedal.

Why does a guitarist need a "Boost" pedal?

A boost pedal is not only used to kick up your volume when it's time for your solo! A good booster can also solve a lot of problems in the modern guitarist's rig, because today's pedalboards average 8 or more pedals, with each of those pedals requiring: a guitar cable--->jack--->more wire--->footswitch--->circuit--->footswitch again--->jack--->more wire--> and on to next pedal. It's a wonder there's any signal left after all the stuff we put our signal through. Ever played through a 10' guitar cable straight into a great tube amplifier? The feel, the dynamics, the fat tone...makes you want to play! Then you connect to your overpopulated pedalboard and suddenly the sound is tiny, thin, with diminished lows, cardboard mids, and scratchy thin highs. This is where a good booster comes in handy, because all that wire and all those connections reduce your signal by a measurable amount with each passing effect in your signal chain. Add a good booster and you can recoup a lot of that lost gain, tone, and reactive interplay between you and your lovely tube amp. Suddenly the "touch" is back.

What happens when the 2B is turned OFF?

That's the problem with other boosters...once they're OFF, they cease to offer a high quality unity-gain buffer to drive the long cables, so you end up having to buy TWO boosters, one set to "unity gain" and the other set to do your Volume changes! A better solution is the 2B, its unity-gain JFET amp buffers your signal when the pedal is turned OFF...and when the 2B is turned ON; the only difference is now the GAIN knob comes into play allowing you to set the desired boost up to 20dB!

Why is the 2B a great booster?

The problem with other boosters is that the more you turn them up, the more highs they add. Not the case with the 2B, there is a subtle roll-off of the harsh ultra-high frequencies as you roll the LEVEL knob clockwise past 12 o'clock. It's subtle, you may not hear it, but you WON'T hear that shrill top end that other boosters can impart!

What's the DYNAMICS knob?

The 2B offers something completely unique in the world of Boost pedals; a DYNAMICS knob. A subtle Germanium diode Limiter circuit that (as you turn the mini-knob clockwise) starts to slightly alter the feel of the notes being played as well as subdue the harsh transient spikes which can overload your amp's input. Those spikes can be fatiguing to your ears, to the amp, and to its speakers! Similar to using a limiter on the mix down of a song in the studio, the 2B's DYNAMICS feature helps you keep your place in the live mix.....like a very smart compressor. This feature can make even an "ok" amp feel responsive and juicy, and will keep you from distorting the amp's input, a problem plaguing most booster pedals.

Specs:

Input Impedance: ultra-high 1.65mega ohms...Not a chance of any interaction issues with guitars or other effects

Fulltone 69 MkII 60's Classic Fuzz With 2 Matched Germanium Transistors Pedal
Cat: 782502 Rel: 11 Sep 20

Fuzz pedal
Notes: This is how you wished your Fuzzface sounded... Fat and Harmonic. And it cleans up like a vintage Fender amp when you turn down your guitar's volume control. The Rolling Stones and the Black Crowes have discovered this trick.

If you love the first 2 Hendrix releases then you'll love this pedal, with 2 Germanium transistors hand-picked and tested for optimum performance. A Contour Knob lets you dial in Midrange, Harmonics and Sustain, also an Input Bias knob that takes out the "woofiness" and gives great Overdrive/Distortion sounds when its level is reduced. An Internal Trimmer allows for adjustment of Clipping Symmetry, Harmonics, and Tracking.

Specifications subject to change at any given moment due to availability... and whimsy.

True-Bypass w/LED is standard equipment to preserve tone when the pedal is off!

Fulltone 70 70's Classic Fuzz With Matched BC108C Silicon Transistors Pedal
Cat: 782503 Rel: 11 Sep 20

Fuzz pedal
Notes: Ever played an original FuzzFace from around 1970? (HINT: Not AT ALL the same sound as ones with the same namesake being mass-produced currently.) Fuzztone's has two intentionally mismatched (for harmonic content) silicon transistors that snarl and spit... not for the meek! If you put the "Fuzz" on 10 you will rip, and you might get all sorts of oscillation and weirdness... but that's Rock. Don't try using it with a wah wah... you can't, and neither could Jimi, without it screaming and howling. You want polite and quiet? Go elsewhere. You want art in a box? Come on in.

Housed in a 16 gauge steel box and powder coated deep blue, this pedal is a bit unruly but with some warmth... ideal for older 4 input Marshall amps, it has much more FUZZ than the '69 Pedal and includes a Mid control for extra clarity and cut.

Fulltone Full-Drive 1	Overdrive Pedal
Cat: 782522 Rel: 16 Sep 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: Yes it's true, finally the sound of a late 90s to early 2000s Fulldrive with-OUT the boost channel! Simple as it comes... with Volume, Tone, Drive, and toggle bringing back the Flat-Mids (FM), Vintage, and the infamous (for assaulting the front end of tube amps) Comp-Cut (CC) modes. Simple True-Bypass switching, 9-18 volt operation. No need to find and pay $400-$600 for a 90's FD2 anymore.

Soundwise, this is based on the exact (full midrange) Comp-Cut that was in the earliest FD2s, not the Flatter mids CC in later models. So even though the FD-1 will have the Flat-Mids mode, the Comp-Cut is the fuller-mids version identical to the "pre FM/pre-MOSFET" versions of the FD2. This tiny pedal is the size of Fulltone's Mas-Malo, with top-mounted (also called rear mounted) jacks & power port, and a JRC4558 chip for your go-to overdrive sound. Come home.

Fulltone Full-Drive 2 V2 Overdrive With Boost Pedal
Cat: 782837 Rel: 11 Sep 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: Since the 1990s, Fulltone's FullDrive series of pedals have been among the most popular overdrive stompboxes around. Undergoing many refinements and tweaks over years to meet the demands of its fans, the FullDrive 2 V2 is the smallest and most pedalboard-friendly version yet!

Featuring a super-compact enclosure without losing any of the key controls or functionality that users adore, this potent-sounding unit can really add some grit to your amp.

2 Footswitches:
Left ON/OFF footswitch: True-Bypass switching with exclusive Fulltone "Anti-Pop" circuit.
Right "Channel select" footswitch: switches between Overdrive 1 or Overdrive 2, each with individually adjustable Volume and Drive knobs.
100% Built in the USA.
16 gauge cold rolled steel chassis with easy battery access via 2 thumbscrews.
9-18VDC operation, extremely green circuit only pulling 10mA of current.

2 toggle switches to access the many clipping options
LEFT 3-position switch:
Comp-Cut- removes clipping diodes, not a clean boost because it can distort the opamp.
Flat Mids- a late 1990's Fulltone invention that feeds signal back on to the clipping diodes removing the Mid-hump.
Vintage- traditional 90's Full-Drive slightly asymmetrical clipping.
RIGHT 3-position switch
Wide- combines Mosfets & Schottky Diodes for more clarity, less compression, a more D*mble-like sound.
Standard- traditional 90's FD2 slightly asymmetrical.
Half-Clipped- another Fulltone exclusive, only clips the top waveform for extreme clarity, feel, and touch like you've never experienced!

Explanation of DRIVE 2 channel.
Think of it as the "More" Channel....
Engaging the DRIVE 2 footswitch brings in the DRIVE 2 knob, allowing you to add distortion (in addition) to what's selected on the DRIVE 1 knob.
At the same time, the pedal jumps from the (pedal's main, large) VOLUME knob level setting to a higher level selected on the DRIVE 2 VOLUME (mini-knob.)
Practical uses:

1) Use as a volume Booster (same Distortion setting, only louder): Set DRIVE 2 knob to "0" and set DRIVE 2 VOLUME mini-knob to taste

2) Use as a higher Gain lead tone with Volume Boost: set DRIVE 2 knob anywhere above "0" and DRIVE 2 VOLUME mini-knob to taste. Ideally you set DRIVE 1 for your lower-distortion sounds and DRIVE 2 for the higher distortion sound...effectively giving you 2 pedals.

Fulltone Full-Drive 3	Overdrive With Boost Pedal
Cat: 782842 Rel: 23 Sep 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: Unlike its cousin the FD2, the FD3 uses both a JFET input and a JFET op-amp, giving it the most tube-like sound you can get out of a tubeless pedal. Along with great sound, these JFET's give the FD3 an ultra-high Input impedance which allows the pedal to mate with any type/gain of pickup and react well to changes in your guitar's volume control.

3-way CLIPPING toggle switch:
Set to 90's and you'll get symmetrical clipping with ample midrange.
Set the switch to WIDE ASYM (wide asymmetrical) and more sweet highs and lows come through, along with chimey, Class-A style even harmonic overtones.
set to COMP-CUT mode, pure opamp-overdrive, with no diode clipping assistance. Aggressive, cutting, and capable of a huge volume boost to slam the input of your amp.

Discrete Channels:
Unlike the FD2, the FD3 has completely independent OVERDRIVE and BOOST channels, and the ORDER toggle switch allows placing the BOOST channel before or after the OVERDRIVE channel. The BOOST channel is also an extremely transparent, high-headroom 100% JFET-powered circuit.

Buffered Bypass:
Serial# 2548 and higher FD3 pedals are now Buffered-Bypass instead of True-Bypass, so the FD3 will always drive long cables, be isolated from other effects, and always retain the highs and feel of your amplifier whether the pedal is turned ON or OFF. Do not confuse the hi-quality JFET op-amp buffer in the FD3 with the simple single transistor buffers on other pedals. The FD3's buffer sounds rich and fat, not thin.

DYNAMICS knob:
A Fulltone-exclusive Germanium diode Limiter circuit circuit that alters the feel of the notes being played as well as subdues transient spikes which can overload your amp's input. This feature can make even a stiff amp feel responsive and juicy, and sweeten the treble frequencies.

The Icing on the cake? The housing is about 20% smaller than the traditional FD2.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Input impedance: 1.1 mega-ohms. Output Impedance: 180 ohms.
Dimensions: 5.17"W x 4.26"D x 2.36" H. Weight: 1lb 7oz.
Power Consumption: maximum 13 ma with both channels on
